Other Good Tips are; - Learning how to reduce understeer by simply releasing the throttle slightly while turning, it is very effective on mid-speed corners like sector 1 at suzuka. - Learning how to get past awkward elevations that may unsettle your car by just lifting (dropping the throttle) just before you approach that unsettling elevating area of the circuit and then getting back on the power. I recorded a lot of footage and accidentally left some useful stuff out in order to keep the video relatively brief as possible, but I'm going to share those portions in the discord.

Only 3 mins in haven't seen rest of video but with just the settings alone I am insanely more consistent and faster than ever before holy shit. I'm able to push harder and harder with modern f1 cars with all their aero thanks for the awesome guide!

Great method for steering, I put a taller thumbstick and helps a lot, but tbh, without any assistance works really good only on circuits with race cars, currently im all invested on the shutoko map, and without any assistance, just 1 little bump to the traffic and youre done! bouncing everywhere on the highway. Trying to find the sweet min max removing the steering correction on the assistance and the sensitivities, but your method of steering with the thumbstick I adopted that for good. thanks a lot.

great guide. I specialy dedicated time to the Gran Turismo saga back in PS3. Had like 1300 hours played, from which 70% or so were with controller. Getting used to a steering wheel helped me improve with controller actually. I have known AC players that match steering wheel top laptimes. For how long have you been competing? Have you just dedicated to AC mainly? Keep it up!
@ItsBlester Жыл бұрын
There was a period when I solely dedicated my time to AC, it was like a period of 8 months, and that's how I truly got better at driving on ac, just doing constant solo practices like hotlaps was one of my main things.

I'm playing on gamepad, I can go fast withou no assists but I'm suffering on brakes. The best way is 100% brake power or lower on 80% (in setups)?

im using controller too. its quite hard to hold the analog stick for a turning wheel angle
@ItsBlester Жыл бұрын
It's really not. It's only hard because you've never been used to it, just get used to it and you'll come back to this comment having a total different opinion.

Wait how did you bind controller buttons to drs/ers? It won’t let me bind any button on my controller to anything
@ItsBlester Жыл бұрын
Why's that? I never had issues binding anything
@petervenios4745 Жыл бұрын
@@ItsBlester I’m doing it on a ps4 controller, could that be why?
@sbinallaracingproject9602 Жыл бұрын
You can't do it from CM, you need to go to the official game launcher and do it from there.
@petervenios4745 Жыл бұрын
@@sbinallaracingproject9602 I tried it but same problem. Could it be because it’s connected through steam and not Assetto corsa itself?
@sbinallaracingproject9602 Жыл бұрын
@@petervenios4745 Sometimes the steam input give problems... try turn it off. Now if you have an Xbox controller should be no problems, but if you have a dual sense PS4 controller, there is many troubles to connect to the game, i fix it with DS4 Windows. The final solution will be erase any preset you have and create one new preset form the assetto Corsa app, not from CM.

@Bungowungo Жыл бұрын
Blue is clutch , Red is brake . Green is Throttle. And the 4th on the right shows the feedback on the steering wheel

@@Bungowungo is it require to install a mod to display these four bars ? I could not find any thing similar on my app menu

@AdrianMak it's called "pedals" you'll find it on your taskbar whenever you're In a session and you don't need to download anything it's already in AC
