crazy how I listen to all your music from NCS when I was 13, now I'm 21 and I'm still hugely influenced by your signature sound every time I make something

For FL users: You can put a stock FL convolution reverb on anything You want and select either the blur pink or blur white preset. Experiment with it however You like, its an easy way to make some cool atmos :)

Pads and atmos make all the difference, especially in tracks like these. I've been messing around with recording multiple varied stretch samples, and then throwing them into CUBE and letting that add movement for me. There's something cool about adding in those higher frequencies manually, too, though!

I've seen a student of mine use CUBE before, that plugin looks crazy good!

@soundhorizonacademy I still have so much to learn about it, but I feel like its presets are amazing and pretty much justify the cost, particularly for pads/ambiance. Then when you stack on the features of the sampler and the modulation can be done, I've had so much fun with it

X Stream by Steinberg is good too. I like PaulxStretch somewhat better because you can render a sound out and save it. X Stream has a way better GUI but you have to record which isn't bad but I haven't figure out if you can render a file.

Yeah the GUI isn't very pleasant on PaulXStretch, thankfully it does an amazing job, will have to check out that one tho!

@soundhorizonacademy4 ай бұрын
It's Keyscape, on the cinematic and warm preset, with an RC-20 on for vinyl noise and an OTT to make the low end warmer
