The tips in this video are very helpful. As someone very new to making videos, I'll admit, I'm terrible at it. I don't have latest and greatest equipment right now, i struggle what to talk about but I think my subject and my story telling will compensate for now, until I do 2 things; get better at making content and get better equipment a little at a time. I'll get better over time. Practice makes perfect.

How do I use the back camera of my phone if I can’t see myself?

Okay, this might sound so dumb - but with the back camera of iPhone - how do you see what you’re doing?! I’ve been using my front iPhone camera 😅 bc when I try and use the back camera I’m all over the place. Thanks again for a great video! You’re right about the microphone, adding it to my list.

Not a dumb Q AT ALL! So there’s a few ways - you can sync to an Apple Watch and see a preview there while you film, they make phone tripods now with a mirror behind the phone so you can see that way, or you just make sure you’re in frame and go (I like this option because it keeps you from overthinking how you look BUT it’s also nerve wracking because you’re not 100% sure you’re in focus or in frame, ha)

I don’t have experience outside of iPhones, so I literally mean iPhones and not Android phones, ha. We say phone when we mean just a phone with no specificity around the brand but I legit meant iPhone, ha

@@jessicastansberry It really is terrible. I bought a 4K webcam at one point and it was awful! I switch between my iPhone 15 to the GoPro to my ZV1 now.
