I have to clarify that this information is not true. EXO is a big project from SM and the logo and other things are believed to planned for a really long time. It may be confuse for some people. He only put the logo on the shirt (that Kai wear back then), but NOT design it.

Chen got A LOT of hate for getting married and having kids. In fact, he STILL gets hate for it from some so-called "fans", although its been a little less prominent lately. I think its helped that his members have stood by him, and that a lot of EXO-Ls, especially when he came back from the military and still seemed a little unsure, showed him love and support and were willing to call out those fans for their behavior.

With Chen it was very dramatic (not with him)when he announced his marriage and baby. I remember literally crying when he sent out a letter to the fans stating he fell in love and was expecting a baby so he was getting married. I was so happy for him but other fans, mostly Korean fans weren’t that way. They demanded he be kicked out of the group, made death threats about his family and even sat outside trying to protest his leave. I am proud that it was very few, many supported him by trying to silent out the haters but sadly they were too loud and Chen left for military to get it over with but to also let the heat die down. He came back and it has seemed to work since he’s been revived mostly with love again. Due to these hateful fans we haven’t been able to see his babies (he had another one about a year later) and his wife (they just now released wedding pictures and people are trying to keep her identity a secret for her safety.) You know what I love about his announcement about his baby? She was born in April and his first album is titled “April and a flower”

One of the main reasons why Suho was a trainee for 7 years was because he originally started out training to be a member of SM's legendary second-generation group, SHINee. However, right before SHINee was to debut in 2008, Suho injured his knee and he couldn't train for their debut showcase, so SM decided to debut SHINee without him. He ended up having to wait 4 more years before he debuted as the leader of EXO. But, by all accounts, this worked out for the best because he became the leader, and as the other EXO members say, he was born to be a leader. If he had stayed a member of SHINee he never would have become a leader, because Onew -- who is the leader of SHINee -- is 2 years older than Suho, and at the time of SHINee's debut it was pretty much a given that the oldest member would automatically be the leader. However, 4 years later when EXO debuted, the rules within the industry had kind of changed and it was no longer a hard and fast rule that the oldest would be the leader. Case in point, Xiumin is the oldest EXO member and, yet, Suho became the leader. Being a trainee for 7 years isn't that uncommon. If you start to really look into it, you will find a lot of Idols who have trained for a very long time before they debuted. However, it all depends on how talented someone is or how much experience they have had before becoming a trainee as to how long they train. Some idols only train for a few weeks or a few months, whereas others could take years and they may be on the verge of giving up when the company finally decides they are ready to debut. And some trainees may never debut and end up leaving the company or industry. Unfortunately, just because you are a trainee doesn't guarantee you will debut. A lot of it is pure talent and luck combined with sheer dedication. Yes, you will discover that all the members of EXO -- and most idols in general -- are actors, and all of them have starred in K-dramas and movies and/or are stage actors. Promoting as a group only takes up a few weeks a year -- on average Kpop Idols only promote their latest comeback on music shows and attend variety shows or do interviews, etc. to promote their newest comeback for about 2 weeks -- so in order to fill their time and continue to make money, all Idols have side projects, which means most idols also spend time as TV and movie actors, musical stage actors, models, Radio DJs, authors, music producers, songwriters, regular/main cast members on variety shows, etc. Their side projects also are part of their cross promotions as idols. Someone who doesn't know them may watch them in a drama or movie or see them promoting their favorite brand or product, etc., which leads to them discovering their group and music, or the person may be a fan of them as a singer and this makes them want to watch their movie or drama, etc. It's all about getting their name and face out there in as many ways as possible in order to drive sales and viewership of everything they are involved in. Baekhyun's performance of "Garden in the Air" is actually a cover performance. The song is originally by BoA, who is a highly respected SM solo artist who debuted in 2000 at the age of 13, and, even after 24 years, she is still a member of SM and is active as a singer and as a member of SM's board of directors. Baekhyun performed that song as a tribute to her for her 20th anniversary in 2020. It all depends on the type of "fans" you are talking about. The fact that Chen is married with children -- he has 2 little girls now -- and still a member of an idol group doesn't sit well with a lot of fringe fans. However, being married as an idol is generally looked at favorable by most international fans. Although, when it comes to the Korean public there are different standards. Therefore, he and his family have gotten a lot of backlash from anti-fans in the past. That's why, you hardly ever see anything about his private life mentioned anywhere. SM Station songs are special songs that are released by SM artists or collaboration songs that are done outside of the members group, etc. Solo performances that aren't associated with a member's group or are just special songs are often Station songs. They are released as part of SM's SM Station channel on KZbin. EXO was one of the first Kpop artists to have a lightstick with bluetooth technology. (Although a lot of newer versions of other groups' lightsticks now also have bluetooth.) At events and concerts, this allows the lighting technicians to have control of the fans lightsticks in order to make it flash and pulse to the music however and whenever they want. In EXO concerts, the lighting technicians will set up whole light shows using the fans lightsticks that corresponds with the performances on stage, which makes fans even more a part of the show. EXO's lightstick is called Pharynx, or more commonly Eribong -- Eri comes from the nickname given to EXO-Ls (EXO's fans) and Bong means light in Korean. EXO's lightstick has EXO's official hexagon symbol on top and it's made up of the letters E X O -- you see the E on the left edge of the hexagon with the X in the center and the 🛑 shape makes the O -- which is close to EXO's original logo for their debut "Mama" MV. Almost all Kpop groups have an official lightstick. It's a pretty standard item to have for anyone who attends a Kpop event. Therefore, if you Google any group with the word lightstick you will find several sites where they are for sale. But be warned, they are usually fairly expensive because most are more than just a light. :D As you saw, EXO's fan color is "Cosmic Latte" (greyish-tan) -- Cosmic Latte is said to be the color that is created when you combine all the colors of the stars together. (As otherworldly beings, even EXO's official color is linked to the group's concept.) However -- as we see introduced in EXO's "Power" MV -- each of the 9 EXO members also have their own official color. Most lightsticks are primarily one color -- whatever color represents the group. For example, BigBang's lightstick is yellow and it has a crown on top because BigBang are known as The Kings of Kpop. SHINee's official lightstick is shaped like a diamond, and if you hold it up to a solid surface and look at the reflection the diamond makes, you will see a 5 point star to represent the 5 members of SHINee. SHINee's symbol is a diamond because they SHINe(e) like diamonds and it lights up an aqua blue/teal color because pearl aqua is SHINee's fan color. NCT's lightstick has a big square block on top, which is supposed to look like a building because NCT and their fans are part of the Neo City, and it lights up Pearl Neo Champaign (neon lime green). Red Velvet's lightstick has the letters RV inside a cupcake shaped dome that lights up red. Mamamoo's lightstick is shaped like a green and white radish because moo sounds like the Korean word for radish. BTS' lightstick is the ARMY bomb so it looks like a TNT-type bomb and it lights up purple. BlackPink has a pink hammer. Stray Kids' lightstick has a red and silver compass symbol on top and it glows red because their official color is red, etc. However, what makes EXO's lightstick extra special is that it's multi-colored to represent each of the member's individual colors. And, depending on which member of EXO is on stage at the moment, the lighting technicians often change the color of the lightsticks to the color that represents that member, or goes along with the theme of the stage, etc. (When attending a concert fans now use an app to sink their seat number with their lightstick, so that the lighting technicians can have control of their lightstick.) Although, some group's lightsticks aren't even sticks, but they are bracelets or watch-style lights that you can wear. It all depends on the group concept. And some groups that have been around a long time, or whose company likes to continuously come out with new merchandise, have multiple versions of lightsticks. Each are very unique and specific to the group. Although, in some older Kpop group's performances, from their older concerts or live performances -- such as any EXO live performance that took place before 2015, which was when EXO's official lightstick was released -- you might see that the audience only has plain stick lights or even just glow sticks, because before there were lightsticks, fans brought or were given glow sticks in the group's color. And even before glow sticks were a thing, fans would all wave a balloon that was the color of their group. The disadvantage to waving balloons was that the artists on stage couldn't see the balloons when the lights were off, which is one of the reasons why they now have lightsticks. Fun fact: G-Dragon, BigBang's leader, was the one who came up with the idea for the first lightsticks, because he wanted to be able to see and identify all of the VIPs (BigBang's fans) in the audience. G-Dragon was the one who designed the very first lightsticks and they were so popular among VIPs that other groups started to come up with their own versions of fan lights, which has now become a standard part of the Kpop industry. During award shows and events where multiple groups are present, the group's lightsticks and balloons are, and were, an important way for fans to show their support for their group and to tell everyone around them who they are there to see, etc.

Thank you a bunch 😀.. this made my day. This video actually contains less information as it's a bit old. Chen is actually the father of two beautiful daughters now. Kai and Sehun is in the military. Baekhyun and D.O. established their own company for solo activities and Chen and XIUMIN is continuing their solo activities under Baekhyun's company. But they're part of exo under SM. Lay has his own company in China. Lady's contract with SM has ended yet he's also with Exo. D.O. , XIUMIN, Suho, Chanyeol all are taking part in Korean dramas this year. All are set to release their solo albums this year as well along with a mini exo album. All the members of exo can not only sing beautifully but can low key rap as well. You'll know when you react to obsession and their other b sides. Except for Kai and Sehun, all of them acted in musicals and Suho is really popular and praised for his musical performances. D.O. and Chen are known to have the bestest voice and vocals in K-pop. Baekhyun's there as well. Xiumin can actually hit the highest note in exo even tho he's a sub vocalist. Baekhyun can learn a whole choreo in just one day. Interesting fact is that Exo releases their group albums on the day of solar eclipse because it's related to their storyline. Thank you for this reaction! Chen got a lot of hate after he confessed that he was engaged and expecting a baby last 2020. Many "FANS" cancelled him and worst even requested his removal from the group. Chen bravely stood for the love of his life and took all the responsibility for the actions and decisions he made. My respect for him when he does that was up there. As we know, being an idol it's not typical to publicize or reveal their relationship status but after Chen bravely did that many other male idols had done too, Bobby's Ikon is an example. SuperM is a group formed by sm entertainment and it is composed of member sof alrrady existed groups : KAI and Baekhyun of Exo , ten and lucas of wavy ( lucas left wavy last year he is a soloist now) taemin of shinee taeyong and mark of nct127 .. the group was created to promote in the usa so most of their songs are either full english or most of the lyrics are in english..

Update 2024 D.O now leaves SM E.since his contract expired. He established his own company with his long time manager, Company SooSoo. But for his solo activities. However he still with EXO group. 100% see them live. While I've been a kpop fan for years, EXO is the only group that I have traveled to see. It is an absolutely incredible experience. Fun fact! The maze design from OVERDOSE (also on the lightstick) was designed by Chanyeol! To answer your question about shows and such, they've appeared on many variety shows, but they've also done some themselves (EXO Showtime, EXO Arcade, EXO's Travel the World on a Ladder). They also had a special V-live series that followed their Exo'rdium world tour (which includes the show that I attended lol). Lastly they also had an adorable web drama called EXO Next Door, which set the guys in an alternate universe... as themselves. Where they secretly move in next door to a fan. It's a really cute drama ^^
