The YT algorithm brought me here. And I'm thankful it did ! Never thought of boosting any of the low end. All the videos I've watched had taught to cut those areas because of mud. But my vocals are very thin and those simple boosts made all the difference as well as the heavy compression on a duplicate track. Thanks !

Late reply here but I love to hear it! There is a lot of info out there, and while I do talk about cutting low end (generally) - it’s important to discern and know when to NOT cut, or when to boost after cutting. These are nuances you’ll get better at as you mix more. Either way, my videos and I are here to help. All the best!
