I just got the book as a birthday gift and I’m liking it a lot. The audio tracks are also really neat! This video just adds even more value and fun. Thank you for all that you create!

I tried to pay by TanakaPay at Family Mart earlier and was met with awkward silence. I'll try Lawson tomorrow. :D

Watched the earlier videos on the convenience store conversations and tried them when i visited Japan last month. At Nagashima Spa Land, after i asked for a bag, i got my purchased stuff in a bag - and back in the hotel i found five more bags neatly folded in the first bag among my purchases. 🙂 Also, i had to ask the staff to speak a little louder and clearer quite often. Most were speaking very softly and had their facemasks on, which made understanding them quite difficult.

I just came back from the connivence store, I had an awkward exchange with the cashier because I was very unsure of what I said is ok. After watching this video, I got most of it right! I think my problem is my voice being too small because I'm very nervous around people.
