Hi. Thats super helpful, thanks. My Total Control has packed up after 7 or more years of regular use. But the one thing I hated was having to put the lid back on when sautéing... and my onions getting frazzled with the high heat...! I'm looking into this one or the Ninja, but this might have swayed me. Thanks so much! (New sub!)

I have the opportunity to start using an older model that doesn't have the sauté function. Not really a problem for me, but I am curious about the general functionality. Do you have any experience with the older Morphy Richards models? Thanks.

I don’t, but I lived in Canada where for some reason none if the soup makers have the sauce function, so you’ll be fine!

@@CandidClara Thanks! I have now seen the unity and it does have the sauté function. It's the same model. My question was actually about the 'chunky' setting and whether it blended at all (Some soup-makers blend on chunky, just less so). But I tried it yesterday to make noodles and it didn't blend at all. That means I can use it to make a wider variety of meals :) Thanks again!

Hi Which Morphy Richards soup maker would you recommend best as I want to get one but not sure what to get as I want to make more smooth soups

I really like the Total Control and would have happily bought it again after my son killed it, but wanted to buy something different to review on the channel. Simple to use and very smooth soups

What’s wrong if it won’t heat up to cook vege

Hard to know, have you tried a different power socket, a different cable?
