You can see if coins are nifc on the royal mint mintage figures, the ones that had no mintage are nifc I think.

My only NIFC find to date was a 2010 shield. Btw there was no 1973 or 1994 Britannia 50p. They were replaced with the EEC Ring of Hands and D-Day 50p's respectively for general circulation. The 1997 large style 50p was also an NIFC, available in sets only.

Very Useful information Christopher any NIFC Would be good to find I have found 2x2ps dated 2021 so i have Kept them Because the Royal mint said they weren't going to make any 2ps or £2 coins for the next ten years do you know any thing about them would like to know cheers 😀

Hard to say until mintage figures get released officially. I do know they had to make more 2 pence coins because between lockdowns people holidayed at home so the arcades were running really short of coppers -CC

I have never found one in circulation but i found it i a lot of old Five 5ps from 1983 I think.

1971 new pence (2p), 1971 new pence (1p), 1976 new pence (1p), 1989 two pence, 1969 new pence (50p), 1961 one shilling, 1957 two shillings coin, 1975 ten pence, 1973 one pence, 1998 one pence, 1968 five pence, 2002 one pound, and 1982 & 1983 twenty pence coins. These are the coins we collect.

Why is the Silver 2010 1p coin, which was an error by the Royal Mint, rare but my Silver 2012 1p isn't?

Sometimes people plate them to look silver or the more recent coins are copper plated steel so the copper plating can be worn off and make it look silver. -CC
