The ULTIMATE Infernoble Knight COMBO GUIDE FOR MASTER DUEL!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to clear up real quick that while I did briefly mention using notes and research in this video, I should note that some of the specific combo lines found here came from the Infernoble write-up on Master Duel Meta, which I'll link below. When it comes to the combo guides for meta decks, I always reference multiple videos and/or write-ups in my research to make sure I show the most relevant lines. It's never my intention to try and claim credit for any of the combos I demonstrate, as I very rarely come up with them myself LOL! The problem with the Isolde line is that everyone knows to negate the second effect, so you pretty much have to have open one of the various defensive cards (Called by for monsters, Forbidden Lance for Spell/Traps, Eagle Booster for both) to ensure it goes through. But Angelica is also a pretty clear choke point so sometimes you have to cover that too and options for that are more limited(especially if you had to go through the Isolde line first). So basically, if you can set up Apollousa with what you open(which will likely be prioritized over Angelica if made first), you should do an Isolde line. Otherwise it might be safer to open with Angelica to ensure access to Museum and Emperor Charles. And ALWAYS bait with the Wanted engine first to lure out disruptions if you open that, it'll hide what your deck is doing unless you have to send an equip or higher level Fire Warrior. If you play Engage for Eagle Booster/Hornet Drones(lvl 1 Warrior token)/Hercules Base(searchable fodder equip spell) you DO have to use those cards BEFORE putting other monsters on the board, so use those options AFTER Wanted but BEFORE Diabellestar.

I couldn’t understand any other “guide” I watched, I felt like they were strictly for advanced players, but yours is clearly explained in a way that a fairly new player can understand what’s happening. It's worth mentioning immortal gearfrieds battle phase effect where when it declares an attack it can equip any opponents monster (including one its not currently attacking) to itself. This gives the deck non-targeting non-destruction removal that doesn't put the card into the grave.

Not sure if you mentioned this when describing the end board on the first cline but the link Charles is a soft once per turn effect. So you can use its effect twice in one turn for each on the field

In the Diabellstar + Museum Combo, you should have sent Living Fossil instead of durendal. It is always a good idea to leave the second durendal in deck for museum.

Is there any notes on how to combo with dempsy and gearblade? Every deck now has those but every guide has dempsy and gearblade and they don't seem to function 100% 1 for 1

32:00 Considering in this instance you opened "Heritage of the chalice" (which tbf, is pretty likely with running 3 copies and all), there might have been a line to get the two Charles onto the field after all. I imagine if you use it to search out Magius early, and manage to discard that off Oliver to shuffle back an equip spell to search off the second field spell. You'd be able to continue normally. There might even have been a way to shuffle the Almace itself back, by discarding it off Diabellstar. I can't describe the line exactly myself, because I'm not comfortable enough with the deck yet. But I can't help but feel that there most likely was a line there.

After i spent a lot of time playing and researching this deck. i would say that this deck doesn't need "Maxx C" in it since we don't want accident pulled of equip for "Isolde" 2nd effect, and try to less the number of equip spells since it will be bad for opening hand be it 1st/2nd turn. Only one museum will make it playable, because we only use it mainly for 2nd Charles one is alrdy good enuf if we cant full combo. This deck means for OTK a long battle will just turned it bad. If we get rid of Maxx C & 2 Copy museum also Living Fossil we have a lot of interrupt to play. The only bad side about this deck is Full equip Charles which negate everything can be targeted by Lava Golem effect.

You can play Photon Thrasher over Red Layer. It's not a fire though so that might matter but it still helps make Isolde

You'll probably have to sacrifice a few engines but it MIGHT be possible if you're willing to settle for a lower ceiling. You mainly have to keep in mind the deck's wincon is getting Isolde and/or Angelica to resolve(prioritizing Angelica if your hand doesn't have a clear Charles line already) and preventing Maxx "C" from coming down at ALL COSTS since the fastest line to a Synchro Charles without minusing yourself(setting up both the Museum and the quick play Roland Synchro equip) takes about 4 summons, and Isolde adds an extra 3 to the process. If you want to combine Psy-Framelord Omega with Aqua Dolphin and/or Trishula for the classic "hand rip" style that practically auto-wins going first if it resolves, a Gamma package helps a lot with that while also potentially stuffing Maxx "C" if your first special summon can be chained to. To that end though, the only non-engine you have space for if you want to minmax card count directly supports the FIRST 2 goals(Charles Control doesn't NEED the hand rips, they're just a nice extra). The Space Connector package can lead to dead turns if you don't open another way to put a Warrior on the field before or after if it gets interrupted, or if you open Aqua Dolphin with it, so those can be cut if you want. Any other card in the deck can be cut down to a 1 of except maybe Durendal since those are extra RotAs, so having more makes it easier to get to anything else you had to cut down. Renaud is your best extender and Ogier your best level 4 non-tuner, so having those at 2-3 is also a good idea. Playing "Isoldeless" or "TCG style" means you don't need to force yourself to have tons of extra equips in the deck to dump 4 for that, but then you want to max out on Ogier + Renaud and potentially play extras of Oliver and Ricardetto(which can shift levels or convert things to tuners) to ensure you can Synchro 5 for Angelica so there's going to be a trade-off and some Maths involved. It's gonna involve me crafting a few things so I don't have everything I need for that just yet myself.

In my experience the deck does well against Adventure Engine. When they equip dracoback, destroy a card with Charles.

We have a decent matchup into Snake Eye so long as you play Red Layer, we have a decent matchup into Branded, we have a decent matchup into Lab and Vanquish Soul, we do well into things that arent most FTK combo boards.

To be fair, they never claimed to be the creator of the combos. And if you've played the deck before these are pretty common knowledge lines. Nothing too crazy. Although IF the master Duel meta website was used as a source, which is very likely but not certain, it should have at least been cited as a source in the description or during the video. I do agree with giving credit where it's due. But it's possible that both are correlated without being cause and effect driven. All that said thank you for your work on the combo guide. We all owe you some gratitude for simplifying the lines to an easily digestible format. Good work.

Yes, your write up was one of the resources I used, particularly to find the Anti-Nib line and Diabellstar combos. I also used various TCG video combo guides to help as well. I didn't try to claim credit for the combo in the video nor was it my intention to make it seem like I did. In fact, I mention referring to notes and research multiple times in the video. Also seperate from my other combo addressing a credit issue, you also got Link Charles wrong, you can use both effects. Connector ends on 6 interactions, not 5.

Is there a way to play 12 hand traps? I'm basically trying to copy PAK's tcg list but it seems like Divine Sword is really needed for this deck to be top tier.

I tried this deck for a while in the tcg on a simulator when it first got the new support and liked it, but in md the deck is ass imo. Loses to maxx c, plays shit going second with how easy to disrupt it is, and not enough room for a decent amount of hand traps. Even if your opponents let you draw almost your entire deck from a resolved maxx c going second all you've got is an ash, a droll, and no board breakers whatsoever for the next turn. If they destroy your first summon there's not enough extension to do a whole lot

i play this exact same list without bamboo sword much batter hands and no i think tactics over droll cause it does struggle a bit to brick boards/ favorite matchups labyrinth branded rescu ace , again snake eye if you go first decent , highly recommend it much fun and it will get its support sp little night and and XYS king dempsey and equip spell.

Even Hex Lex shows in the VERY FIRST COMBO why you need the bamboo sword guaranteed equip, it raises the ceiling of your board and gives you an extra charles instead of doing Ogier send Ricciardetto into Promethean. I know what Im talking about, dont talk to me like Im an idiot

All they're saying is that you need the Bamboo Sword to make certain combos because you can't do certain lines without an Equip Spell. Since Phoenix Blade is banned in MD and Gearblade isn't out, Bamboo Sword is the only way to ensure you have plays.
