There are some great design ideas here. Beautifully finished as well. I especially love that potti drawer as a great solution for those horrible but essential things. The only bit I'm not so sure about is having to go outside to cook. Not with British weather anyway! Lovely van though. Lots and lots to like.

@@Springer5 thanks for the kind words. Yes we live forever hopeful that the weather will be kind enough so we can cook outside!! Always a risk in the uk!! But that said I have the same set up in my van and I have a small portable cooker which I can use inside for a brew first thing without having to go outside. If the weather is that bad normally I’ll go and find somewhere else to eat and let them do the cooking and washing up! The porta potti drawer is a game changer for those 3am wake up calls so you don’t need to trek across the campsite. 😃

@@trevorthet5 it’s highly unlikely they’ll fit. Obviously they are made specifically for our U-Shape which will differ from what ever you have bought.

What’s the legalities around adding seatbelts to that design in the back

There’s no legal requirement as they are not travelling seats. Also it’s highly recommended not to use seat belts on side facing seats as it can cause spinal injuries in a severe stop or crash. If you want seat belts you need to use a traditional seat bed design not a U-shape.

Really up to the customer isn’t it? Besides this has a sink? Maybe you mean cooker, in which case the cooker is at the rear. Many of our builds have cookers and sinks on the worktop but this one like all our builds was built specifically for the customer and to their spec.

Great design. Especially the u-shape bed is awesome. I dont understand people who fit a full size bed in the back of the van, using 30% of the space for a bed, and then have to sit on a small bench during the day..... this design is much better. (I noticed that your pocket holes in the small box are not spaced evenly..... shame on you.) ;-)

You’re quite right! Thanks for the feedback. That might be because the pocket hole machine drills upside down, we have actually changed this method now and use invisible fixings, check out our other videos with the buddy box. So now no debris can get in the holes and it is a much cleaner finish 👌🏻
