Thanks for your tips. Here’s a tip in return that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I’m always connecting my Bluetooth earphones to different iPads and my iPhone. If you press and hold the settings icon it pops up a list of options and one of those takes you straight to the Bluetooth page.

Rich, you never cease to amaze me with the new and very useful videos you create to help us Seniors better use our iPads, iPhones, and Apple Watches! I am so grateful that I found your channel. Your videos have helped me organize and be more efficient with the apps on my technology devices. Once again, another great video! I loved the tip on cleaning up my home page by holding one app and dragging the others to it to create a stack that can be dragged to the App Library!! Game changer for me! Have a great weekend and thanks again for always sharing very pertinent and useful information!! ❤

Your videos are great and I’ve learned allot from you. I have an IPad Air 5th Generation and I’m on latest Apple 18.2.1. When I click in middle of my Home Screen and then tap an icon, they all giggle with minus signs and I can’t move them on top of another like you did to put into my library. What am I doing wrong? I have to do them one at a time. Also, in a future video would you do one on virus protection programs and if they are necessary? The older I get the more vulnerable I feel. Thanks.

I was anxious to hear what other people commented because I have been using computers and Apple products for a long time. I started following your suggestions along in your video and now my apps are all in places where I cannot find them.
@RichBowlin2 күн бұрын
Just go to the App Library and swipe down from the top. You'll get a list of all your apps in alphabetical order. You can always move them back to the Home Screen too. Hope this helps.

@JFCincy-cc3uoКүн бұрын
Thank you so much for your advice. I set up my machine using your suggestions. This morning I open up my IPad and Apple has slapped a stack widget in my screen and deleted some of my widgets. The worst part? I'm not surprised.

Nice Video!! Are you using the the 11" Pro or the 13" - I really like the real estate of the 13" but just find it a little too big to hold for extended periods of time. I do have a folio but find going back and forth and wanting the 11" - I had a PRO and returned it - but thinking about an AIR. I DONT use the full power of the Pro - (like video editing) - I tend to go to my Macbook M2 AIR when I need to do something like that (Displayed on a larger monitor) - Thanks - Enjoy your videos

I have both but was using the 11" in this video. The current Air is a great choice!

How many apps can you put in that doc station also how do I get my word documents on my ipad, I have them on my MacBook?
@RichBowlin2 күн бұрын
I think you put around a dozen apps in the doc. Your Word docs are in the Files app (if they're stored in iCloud). Hope this helps!

Rich, I watch your KZbin’s so often my wife thinks we are coffee drinking friends. I have a problem with my wife’s iPad where I can’t up date it due to lack of memory space. It’s an iPad nine with 32 gb of memory. I also have it backing up to iCloud. I have a lot of photos on the drive cloud which seems to load up my wife’s iPad when it syncs. Have you done a you tube on memory management for iPads that do not have large amounts of memory? I have lots of iCloud space. I would like a way to have data available on the laptop cloud the my wife could access but not have to be stored in her IPad memory. Thank you for all that you do. And is there a way I can “buy you a coffee”. You have made me an active member of the Apple ecosystem
@RichBowlin2 күн бұрын
I've done a video on iCloud and photos and such but not one dedicated to storage. My wife's 32gb iPad is full too and she runs into problems regularly. I guess I need to do a video on this topic while also buying my wife a new iPad. She really likes the home button so I don't know how this will go...
@michaelwebb45002 күн бұрын
@ the iPad 10 has a home button on top. It has fingerprint id like earlier iPhones. I wish it had Face ID like my iPhone. Thank you for considering a you tube on this.

Hi Rich, I just purchased a 10th Gen iPad and I’m having trouble with signing onto my FB account. I enter my user name and password then it asks me for password code. Where do I find this? I’ve checked my email, my messages and cannot find the code to allow me access to my FB account on the new iPad. I would like to return my previous iPad to its factory settings, but not until I get this taken care of. HELP ME PLEASE!!!
@RichBowlin3 күн бұрын
I'm guessing FB require 2-factor authentication. Typically the code would be sent to a different device like an iPhone or computer - not your iPad. I wish I could help more.

I'm sure Rich will do a video on the PHotos app but I found that using the customize and reorder at the bottom of the (for want of a better descriptive name) photos home page, that I could move Albums to the top. Years of using Adobe Lightroom has disciplined me to organize by albums and folders. I also deleted everything else except Utilities and Media types (though I think they are actually hidden rather than deleted). BTW, I am almost 86 (Feb.), like shiny new tech but still find Rich's channel helpful. I started way back in the 70s with the Tandy 8086 LOL--switched to Apple a number of years ago because of the ecosystem (depends on your viewpoint I know but since I have so many Apple devices, it works well for me).
@JFCincy-cc3uoКүн бұрын
Ahh. The widget was deleted because the widget is no longer compatible with the IPad, and again, I am not surprised.
