I played many hours of iron man in the alpha and beta. Theres one thing I'd like to add. his main repulser blast has two different AOEs. when he's firing he goes right hand, left hand and then both hands. the first two are the same but every third shot, when he uses both hands, is a wider aoe. it doesnt really make a difference while playing but i think its still cool. but a seriously great guide as awlays and im glad you mentioned how bad the flight mode missles are lol

I love playing this character, he's really rewarding, but really vulnerable, but he doesn't feel overly strong or weak, but more that if you're patient you will help out your team a lot.

A few minors details to add : -Armor Overdrive resets the cooldown of micro missile barrage as it also reduces it's cooldown to than 2 seconds. (once you know this, you're gonna spam the heck out of it) -While the Armor Overdrive is active, Hypervelocity (the flight mode) does not require fuel. They're not big intel, but it's always nice to know them just in case And again just like last time, very awesome guide ! Keep it up ! (even tho i wish we could hear the awesome themes from MvC 3 lol)

Really Great Guide! PRO TIP For Iron Man Players. You can cancel your flight animation into Overdrive, it's a solid way to exit Flight > cutting down lag & allows you to slightly redirect your momentum out of it. (also be mindful of the deactivation of overdrive if in flight as it will make you really laggy vulnerable).

Great guide. This is exactly how i played Ironman during the beta. In your opinion, tho do u think Iron man needs more health? Or at the very least be granted temporary extra health during armour over drive? I understand that as a flyer, he needs to be a bit more vulnerable due to having a permanent high ground advantage, but it just doesnt sit right with me that Friggin Iron man who has fought Thanos, has less HP than punisher.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Unibeam doesn’t have a very well telegraphed range limit, unlike the Repulsors, and you need to experiment with it to establish just how close/far away from a target you need to be.

I get that he would likely be very overpowered if he was hitscan, but I will always be irritated when characters have close-range hitscan abilities and are projectile characters for long range encounters.

Personally 1vs1 against other flying characters or snipers (hel and I guess hawkeye) is rather hard with iron man.

Yeah the risk/reward vs. those characters when playing into their advantageous state is VERY hard to win for Iron Man since he will rarely be in unibeam range. Play for empowered Overdrive chip damage with LMB, keep pivoting in and out of corners and try for some direct hits to win this scenario.
