Emerald Lion Ring costs around 4g through thorium ore prospecting ( can be sold at AH easily ) and can be used to level up from 290 up to 310.

It's the only resource we have currently with AH prices but I imagine the price of elemental water will definitely not stay at 3g a piece. Only reason its like that now is because people are using multiple frost resistance potions a week in Naxx and I've already seen people dumping them on AH en masse. I just picked up two stacks of elemental water for 1g a piece a few days back making it cheaper than star rubies

Yes and no... There's going to be tons of demand, but a lot of people have been stockpiling, so it might flood the market while JC is still fresh, keeping ore prices down but lowering gem costs too

Okay, but doesn't demand for the gems also rise, aren't they necessary for crafts in JCing? Mine your own ore, prospect it and use the gems? Otherwise anything's a profit if you're gathering yourself.

I think they mean to say everyone will start off prospecting all at once with their stockpiled ores theyve been collecting for the past few months and flood the market with gems to start. You also have to consider people were prepared with more ore and gems than they thought they would need as they prepped for Jewelcrafting to not have the special meta gems be BoP.

Toyhouze... while you did decent, you didn't factor in how easy it is to farm some of these things right now... like elemental water is super easy to farm in arathi highlands, presuming it's not super camped right now.
