Concerning the hydration drinking tube, I use Magnet Tube Clip by USWE to secure it. Two magnets, one mounts on tube, the other on wherever you like (mine is on my PFD). I adjust mine so that I can just drop the tube from my mouth and it falls down and grabs the magnet. With this deck pod, you would do that by hand in a location of your choosing. FWIW! 😊

I love the snap mount idea but thought it was a bit expensive here in Canada (150.00). I have something very similar and works great, the ULANZI GP-16 Magnetic Action Camera Mount for GoPro, Camera Chest Mount POV/Vlog Quick Release Mounting System (30.00 CAD). As for the Deck Pod itself, I have the original and I love it, I bought it after seeing your review on it :) Love your videos mate!

Ahh yes.. The Ulanzi Magnet mount came out after the Snapmounts after some time and it looks just as good. Happy my videos have helped with your decision making :)

Thanks for watching! The water bladder I tried was 1.5L.. but it won’t have a problem with one size larger like the 2L version. Can’t wait to use it!

Great review my friend But I think I will stick with the original Deck Pod as to be honest I just don't like the look of this one. However, I can see the benefits of being able to mount your cam to it. But I don't do that anymore as I have brackets on the boat now. But I could tell you are very excited about this so I hope it works great for you. 👍
