I quickly found out that I needed to be able to work after dark around here. I need to be able to see what I am doing in the garage while working on tractors and vehicles. And without a good one of these all that is much more difficult!

Everything you mentioned about the old halogen lights is spot on,,, I Hate Them! Hot Hot Hot, don’t bump it at all or the bulbs blow, will never stay tight and flop around all the time and won’t stay stationary, bulky, and don’t get me started on the weight of them. I bet I have 5 or 6 of these lights from that one to the smaller ones and I bet all the bulbs need replaced. Love the new light and think I just found a new tool to add to my collection. You can also power your lights with power stations. You can make it portable. Jackery 300 or Bluetti EB55 should power it for 8 hours.

In all likelihood, waiting for the halogen bulbs to burn out is a waste of energy/money. I remember the incandescent bulb vs fluorescent bulb calculation and it saved money to chuck the incandescent bulb asap even before it burned out.

In the wintertime I do like the halogens they keep my hands warm!!!!Yeah, I have 5 of them halogen. Just tired of buying more and more tech toys and a year later,what you have is obsolete! The first LEDs were in a spiral light that slowly warmed up and eventually got dimmer year after year. Who would of thought a light bulb could cost 5-10 dollars a light bulb!

Great video! Very cool light! Very Star Trekie. One could easily cart it out in the pasture too and run it off a little inverter without worrying about running down the ATV battery. You do much more justice to it than the Amazon listing does. If I had not seen it on your vid or in person I would not buy it. Must have one or try to find one similar but cheaper... :) I am going to replace all my old fluorescent lights on the ceiling of my shop too. Check KZbin videos for building your own. It will save you a TON of money and your shop will become blindingly bright again!
