We upgraded this customer from his Commuter System to our Performance 2.5 when he said he'd be hitting the dirt a lot more than originally anticipated. We FINALLY filmed the result.

Had it on my 16 Rebel since July. 285/75/17, and paired with my Whipple Supercharger and it's a totally different trucks. Been chewing up 10" snow dumps like nothing.

Looks like you guys are accomplishing a lot out of that limited travel. Pretty awesome.

Ordered this kit for my 16' Ram Rebel a couple weeks ago, pairing it with some 285/75/17s on Method Race wheels. Also have a Whipple Supercharger kit coming as well. cant wait to pair that up with the new suspension

Why the 285’s? I fit 315’s on my 17 Rebel stock. Just order King Shocks as well now just gotta wait out the horrible lead times lol

@@MrBoscoPuhleeez snow up here. The 285/75/17s end up being a 34x11.50 so while still fairly wide its a little narrower then a 35, and will eat the snow I get in Alaska up a little better. Or so I hope. I also noted noted on the Toyo ATIIs, the actual size on a 34 was "33.9" and the actual size on a 35 was "34.5". The price difference didn't seem worth the extra half inch to me. But well see, with the Whipple these tires arnt likely to last long so maybe I'll up it to 35 next go around lol

Nice video. Im debating upgrading my 2019, or waiting for the Ram TRX.
@thecarlisuspension4 жыл бұрын
Blitz None we’re stepping the 2019 up from this one, even. It’s going to have more down travel in the front. That’ll save you a boat load and it’ll be a killer rig.

@@thecarlisuspension would the kit for the 2019 you just mentioned also fit and add more down travel on my 2017 Express? I want to maximize the front and rear travel on my 2017 Ram 1500! What would the max travel specs be for the 2017 Ram 1500 with your kit? Thanks so much!

Did you fix the bolt sizes yet? Mine came loose after a 40 mile dirt road. Squeaks like hell and had it professionally installed.

cool to see Carli in the IFS game but it looks like your solid axle trucks can hit bigger whoops.

It has less to do with the platform, more to do with what's available. This is our top of the line for the 1500 - bolt in custom tuned Kings front and rear with an upper control arm and mild rear geometry correction. Most the videos on our HD lines are running 3.5" or Bypass shocks with completely redesigned geometry. If we put the same into this platform, i'm sure it would walk all over the HD Line with the same $$ invested. Each has their place and we don't plan to make any long-travel for the 1500 to compete with the higher end of our HD Line.
It can be configured/priced here: carlisuspension.com/product/dodge/ram-1500/1500-suspension-systems/dodge-1500-performance-2-5-system-2009/

What size tire was used? Slow motion sells! 💪
@thecarlisuspension3 жыл бұрын
I believe these were metric equivalent to a 34" tire.

Do you plan on making suspension lift higher to 4in rather than 2.5 anytime soon?
@thecarlisuspension4 жыл бұрын
We don't, unfortunately. Key to performance is keeping the factory components within their respective capability. Any higher and you're pushing what the rest of the front end is capable of.

🤣 Look at that horrible excuse of a front bumper bouncing all around like it's a cardboard mockup. Everybody recognizes King coil overs, so nothing new here to see.
