Its best to not get water under the ferrule, thats how you ruin your brushes. The water gets to the glue that holds the bristles. Just a tip. 😊

@mrsdrdoty I usually do it in a sink. I have a flat pad with all the different textures on it on one side and suction cups on the other (it's like $4). I stick that in there. Then I also have a solid brush soap (I really like Morphe's) or you could get a liquid one. Real Techniques sells a good one for around $8. Then you just want to make sure to only get the bristles wet, not the ferrule or the handle. Once your , get a towel and roll up one edge. Put your brush handle on the rolled up part so it higher then the bristles. That way no water will roll back into the handle. You just want to elevate your handles. Hope this helps!! :)

Mac no longer does the back to Mac program unfortunately, so you won’t be able to return your empties for a free lipstick/eyeshadow. They just have to go into recycling. It’s a bummer.
