Cool video. I take the Penn Line often but not the Camden Line. I want to take it though because Thomas Viaduct is really cool. It bridges the Patapsco River (around St. Denis stop) and is one of the oldest stone arch rail bridges still in use, being built in 1833. It was so vital, connecting Washington to the North, that in the Civil War it had constant patrols in case of rebel sabotage.

Wow I didn’t know that. Thank you for the info. I’ll have to check that out next time I’m out that way.

The one MARC Line I haven’t been on yet. I rode the Penn up to Baltimore Penn, the Brunswick to Gaithersburg, but not the Camden for some reason.

I’m familiar with them all. This was actually my first time on the Camden line

Congratulations on 1000 subscribers! Was surprised to see you riding the MARC up to Camden. Always fun to catch a game there, but try not to stay in the area after sunset! My trips to the city usually start up north at the Hunt Valley light rail station.

Thank you for the praise. Growing up an O’s fan I definitely know and understand that you don’t want to steer too far from Camden or the harbor 😂

I have taken the Penn Line a few times. I don't use DC union station as much as I used too. Because some people are begging too much.

Sad reality of what should be could be a beautiful train station all around

Great video, and good description of the route to Camden Yards. Nice to see the locomotive on the point of your train, and I wonder if the newer Siemens Charger locomotives appear on this line ?
@mattsmoments23 ай бұрын
I’m unsure their locomotives rotation per line. Thank you for the compliment and watching

I haven’t been on it in a while. What I wanna know abt MARC before I get on is if the Penn line trains can handle a few larger checked style bags. I imagine they can, and see some of that, since they stop at the BWI rail station. But last time I was on I don’t remember a lot of dedicated big luggage space like you see on some Amtrak trains.

Haha, I commented before you showed the little cubby well near the end.
@mattsmoments211 ай бұрын
That’s about it for storage is the cubby hole. If not or filled plenty stick bags in aisles and seats

There are four machines if you exit the metro rail through the north exit and follow the signs to Marc

This train doesn’t stop at Jessup Station?
@mattsmoments2 Жыл бұрын
I know that day it didn’t. I think only one or two trains each day stop there. Just gaging from the online schedule listed. I also remember this particular train time I was on was also more of an express train with a few less stops.
