I was the Leaf sales person for a major dealer when the car was first released in Australia. I remain a huge fan of the Leaf and congratulate you on resolving it's only design fault, which is the lack of thermal management. I hope your vision is well rewarded in the years ahead.

I mean this in the most earnest way possible because this is what the world needs now. I’ve been impressed by your engineering skill in developing the products that have been on offer through EVs Enhanced before now and thought you were easily capable of achieving something like this. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been interested to see the startup Ample come in this year with a battery swap solution for Leaf Fleet owners. Your solution will hopefully save many more of the 160,000 Leafs sold in the US from winding up on the scrap heap prematurely. Used models here are selling for approximately double what they were in late 2019 despite having very limited range.

This is fantastic news! I got a leaf this year and I love it to bits, its a fantastic commuter and a great size for my family of four. My biggest concern has been that the car would outlast the battery and in 5-6 years time the battery might degrade to the point I'd have to start being careful with my regular trips, which would be a pain. Its very exciting to hear the announcement for an aftermarket battery given they are not readily available now, it addresses basically the only downside to the leaf from my perspective.

Our 2013 Leaf, bought in 2015, has been excellent for around town. A higher range would extend its utility to around the region. In 8 years all that has been done is: charge it, fill tires with air, and replace windshield wiper blades. Since we have owned it it has only been charged at home on 120v 15 amp circuit with the EVSE provided originally by Nissan. It still has 11 out of 12 bars on the battery state of health display. I live in the Seattle area. There is a shop on Bainbridge Island, EV Works, that specializes in upgrading or replacing Leaf batteries with used batteries. Depending on cost, of course, I would be interested in a new upgraded battery pack. I suspect supply of batteries is a huge constraint to EV Works' business. I look forward to you releasing your new product.
