I checked this place out to rent trailer/cabin because of its proximity to Shore Acres just down the road. Went to an event there and go there for King Tides. Such a beautiful place. Very pricey in this area. You guys are too cute 🙏🏻

Great restaurants in Coosbay/North Bend: Yeongs, Bungalow, Tin Thistle, Wildflower, Restaurant O. 2 health stores: Natural Grocers, Coos Head Co op. Happy Trails!

We stayed there last year in a bay front site! So pretty but like you said not much to do in Coos Bay. We ended up at the brewery and casino when we weren’t at the site or the pool 🤣

You already know I love Bay Point Landing! It is nice seeing your review shared with other RVers. It is a little spendy but we always felt the close beach where dogs could be off leash, the view and surrounding attractions were worth it. Our favorite thing to do from the park is drive up Cape Arago hwy to the state park at the end; the views are spectacular! We found very good restaurants in the area and there are a couple casinos if you like that.

This was a great place to stay, especially if your rig is too big for Sunset Bay State Park which isn’t too far down the road. Shore Acres State Park (no camping available) is just a bit further south than Sunset Bay, both are fantastic state parks!

I have to add it is kind of sad that someone cannot stay there with a tent or even a pop up tent . A lot of people cannot afford an actual trailer. The space fees have gone up SO MUCH THERE . $ 234 for an airstream ! $335 for a cabin! WOW. WOW. WOW !!! This is higher than MAUI rates !

Nice Video! Looks like a very nice resort at a great location to the beach. It seems to be a bit "Amenity Heavy" for me and I feel I would be paying a lot extra for amenities that I would not use................pretty much the same issue that I have with KOA. They are usually really nice parks, but when I stay there I end up paying for a bunch of stuff that I don't use. I am pretty much a state park person........especially when camping in Oregon.

You sound very similar to us. We rarely stay at parks like this. We much prefer State Parks as well. Since we were working remote though this was the only place we could stay with good enough Wi-Fi.

That depends on the park and their facilities. Some have water only while others have water and sewage. Others may have neither.

Great question Susan. Kim worked out of the trailer all week with zero issue. We too have Verizon and she just used her hotspot. I think we were getting like 3 bars. It’s funny others have said the service wasn’t great but for us it was. Maybe they were with another carrier.

Flat, wide open with no privacy. $68.00 a night to stay in your own trailor ?!? $234.00 to stay 1 night in an Airstream . No thanks. Thanks for posting. You guys did a nice job, but I'll be sure to avoid this place.
