The Ultimate PB&J Sandwich?! | Making, Eating and Ranking 6 Crazy PB&J Sandwiches

We discovered in our desert island food challenge a few months back that a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is one of five foods we both could happily survive on for the rest of our lives (link to that video below if you’d like some context). So, for this week’s video, we took our love for the delicious combination and battled it out to see which twin could create the more epic, untraditional pb&j. Giving ourselves three opportunities each to outdo the other, we devised our most elaborate, decadent peanut butter and jelly sandwich creations in secret and revealed, ate, and ranked them together here in a friendly, competition mukbang.

Q: How do you not gain weight?
Well, we currently are but here’s a quick answer as to how we managed to do weekly food challenges for a year and a half without gaining much it:
A: Endurance sports (primarily running, cycling and some resistance training tossed in) and extreme discipline & sacrifice with our daily diets is how we manage not to gain weight. We eat mostly vegetables, fruits, some whole grains and low fat dairy on the days outside these challenges. The calories consumed in a food challenge are the only calories consumed that day and sometimes the day following as well seeing our appetites are typically shot from so much food and the thought of eating is very off putting. Two days out we are back to large amounts of vegetables and increase to maintenance from there. We also often eat most of our days calories in a smaller eating window (we frequently bounce between intermittent fasting & OMAD diet as it just seems to work with our lifestyles and eating preferences). Anyone with a larger than normal stomach capacity like us, the drive to push through the discomfort of a challenge like this, and a basic understanding of energy balance (calories in vs calories out) can do it with enough disciple and intention (not that we recommend it).
Also worth mentioning is that we do not exercise to burn the calories consumed in a challenge but rather we are able to consume higher calorie diets due to our love for endurance sports and said discipline with our daily diets.
Q: Can you make a “What I eat in a day” / fitness focused video?
A: While we’re sure that type of video will eventually make its way out there, this channel is intended primarily for food entertainment. We’re still in the very early stages of establishing ourselves within this genre and we’re constantly experimenting and trying to improve upon our style to make our channel a unique experience. Food is our passion while fitness is our discipline so, while we currently only have the availability to produce one quality piece of content a week, food-centered videos is where we’ll be focusing our attention (and trust us, it’s more fun for all of us this way). Thats not to say it will never happen - it’s just not a top priority for us.

Agreed, you two are EPIC!!! PBJ idea: 1.) Blueberry toasted bagel with tons of whipped peanut butter , cream cheese, and jelly of choice. Topped with several nutter butters. Final sandwich between other half of toasted blueberry bagel .. 2) Start with making Old Fashion Quaker oatmeal cooked with hot water . Add Strawberry greek yogurt (Chobani) to mix. Allow to thicken and cool before adding to center of burrito wrap filled with your favorite peanut butter. Then add butterfinger bars before wrapping into the burrito. ENjoy!

Golden Oreos would be awesome, but we’re not fans of chocolate with fruit so we’re not trying any regular Oreos on a pb&j lol (That’s why no Reese’s with chocolate). Very creative. I think if both of you had chopped up some things and mixed it into fillings (like PB cups chopped into the peanut butter cheesecake) , then had spread that on your vessel of choice, eatability would have dramatically improved for all of the items and the entire results would have changed.

Such a great video, with great content yet again !! PB and J is still a new thing over in the UK and it’s still not something that’s done to be honest . You can’t find in on a menu or anything. I have seen a krispy kreme filled pb&j filled doughnut and that’s it!!! In all of my years on this earth, I never knew Little Debbie had peanut butter creme pies. I applaud your creativity. My creation would've been Reese's Pieces peanut butter cookies with peanut butter cookie dough and strawberry cream cheese.

PB & J is not such a big thing here in the UK but personally I love it. For me, the ice cream jamwich won but they all looked amazing 🤩 I think I would try but using donuts as the bread! Still hoping for the trifle….! 🙏 💙

I would gladly eat every one of these, they all looked like a tasty good time. The one I thought looked the best was the little debbie one. Cant beat a good peanut butter cookie. Fun fact: Ernest Hemingways favorite sandwich was peanut butter and onions on white. Ive tried it, and it . . . almost works.😁 Great video as always!

A tasty good time it was! Yes, the Debbie is an excellent choice! Gonna try a few of those - but with grape jam (sorry not a fan of the strawberry) However - you fellas need to try Double Decker - GRILLED PB&J with and thick artisan bread (sourdough is A++). Construction is bread PB/J, bread, J/PB, bread. "Grill" in HOT skillet or griddle with 1 to 2 tbs of SALTED butter PER SIDE until golden or well browned. Trust me.
