I have an RS7 C8 its running 814bhp 1135nm (runs low 10s and 2.6 to 60) been reliable and gets lot of looks, mine lowered Full carbon add ons and fully loaded might be selling it this year, god knows what to get next though. Had M5 f90 before this. Welcome to try it joe, im aston clinton bucks. My M3 is always in at Russ place up the road.

A7 is my best Audi I have ever owned, have had two, Shame they weren't a RS7 but diesel and remapped, make me smile from ear to ear every day, keep up the great work. Great to see your numbers increasing all the time.

Got a 2020 RS7 equipped in specs as the performance with DRC (no air susp), 22 carbon wheels, 380m front carboceramic brakes. This car is a rocket. When you slightly push between 2000 and 3000 rpm even in comfort you have the sensation of having a rocket in the back. Flooring it on normal roads is impossible, not enough space. I agree with you on the Pzero. Mine as well has brand new PZero and something doesnt feel right. In general i think this car is a good investment, it will pick up in price in a few years as they wont make cars like this anymore. The engine is a monster and it almost sounds like a fishing boat when idling 🙂.

Glad your on the mend Joe, it looks to me like the suspension works much better on this RS7. One thing I really don’t like about the RS6 is the way it squats so far on the rear looks like it’s going to do a wheelie. Honestly I think one of these on 20” wheels with PS4s and steel breaks. Would be amazing.

Nice video, thx. I have the RS6 (C8) with the Litchfield stage 1 mod (otherwise standard). I like it, but compared to my last C7 RS6 I think the build quality is nowhere near as good. My C8 dash creaks and rattles - not always, depends on the ambient temp, the road surface etc, and where I "hit" it to make it quiet :) But I found my C7 RS6 build so much more solid - I did over 100,000 miles in it and even after all that driving the dash etc was still solid, not a squeak ! Mark

Interesting you say that about the reflections. When I had my 2016 Q7, it had that issue with the HUD plastic and found an article on a US forum where they’d got matching plastic and cut it to size to cover the reflective part. I did it and it fixed the problem, but not what you’d expect to have to do for a car that was over £70k back then.

I have the c7.5 and your issue about elbow rest could be solved by lifting the trap door over the centre storage unit. If you do it correctly, you can lock it in position much higher and its height is adjustable. Get well soon.

Thanks buddy, I really hope so too! Reducing un-sprung mass (wheels/tyres/brakes/suspension components etc) not only help in terms of overall weight, it also helps with handling, suspension, acceleration and braking. Best way of understanding that more is probably searching on KZbin. Cheers

You have the option in most markets to choose between the Pirelli, Hankook and Cont SC 7 at no extra cost, so if you prefer the softer Conti(with shorter lifetime) it's just a checkbox.

Always been curious why UK being such a big RS6 market get shafted on spec. In Australia, a tiny market, I could still order a perf with the tan interior, exclusive paint, ceramics, and an interior pack which crucially adds the alcantara roof, rising tweeter b&o, leather airbag etc. the only thing Audi Australia won’t entertain is exclusive interior sadly

RS6 100% because center of gravity is important. Similar practicality, but RSQ8 is even heavier and has a higher center of gravity. RS6 will be more fun to drive, feels like a sedan and not an SUV, and is much more nimble in the corners. If you’ve gone this far for performance and practicality just go all the way and get the one that’s best at both.

Bro, lower your steering wheel a bit, bring your arms down to the rests…ya look like a NASCAR driver..😁 Though I’m familiar with that infotainment from my Q8, and I agree it looks slick, but full touchscreens aren’t optimal while driving. I prefer the button interface my ‘21 RS5 still has. Btw, love that Ascari blue with blue seat inserts, carbon fiber trim and seatbelts (I have the RS5 Ascari Launch Edition, but am lusting over that RS7 Perf!). Thanks for the informative vid review!

This car is absolutely fantastic if you wanted a daily family sports sedan. The only reservation of course is long term reliability.

The RS Suspension (or DRC) is also hydraulically cross-linked - you can really feel the difference vs traditional coils. Crazy turn-in and body control. I somehow even preferred its handling and steering over the R8... I wish they made these exact wheels in 21". Love the design and low weight, but just too big. And the 21" wheel option looks no good IMO.
