Just received a 3070 Suprim non X version. And am i satisfied? Hell yeah! The card is running so cool, and without noise, i am shocked by it! Just traded my old 2080ti Gaming OC from Gigabyte, and this card is far better in noise and temps. Going later for a 3080 super or Ti when they hit the shells. It is huge, also a 3070 is 33.5 cm long! And over 1.7KG! Thats insane, so the support stand is very needed i believe. But love the card so far. Beyond my expectations!

@@tomasjauregui3148 No you can change the colour from the gpu no matter wich motherboard brand you have using software msi lightning. However it's easier to have more same brands as you need less seperate programms for your lightning on you motherboard, gpu, watercooler, ram ect...

I got mine yesterday and got it stable in port royale at 2190MHZ. It crashed in horizon zero dawn but was fine at 2175MHZ. It ended up TOP 3% for port royale. Its really nice.

Depends on resolution but you cant go wrong with 5600x atm

AMD Ryzen 5900x if you want peak performance at a reasonable price. 5600x if you want near-peak performance for cheaper. 5950x if money is no concern and you want the very best.

if you play games use only intel cpu, everything from 8700k can be used for the 3080 or 3090, but the best would be the 10900k, amd cpus are shit for gaming, don't listen to these AMD fanboys ;)

Go look at any benchmark. 5600x with smart memory is getting 150+ fps more than the i9 in csgo ( a game that favors intel.) Dont get too much buyers remorse.

as one of the lucky owners of this 3080 card, I can say it performs super well basically any game at rtx extreme quality (minus cyberpunk) will get you near 100 fps if not more. 9900k with z370f deepcool 360mm aio 32gb of 3000mhz ram I have yet to see the card pass 65c under long gaming time

Should be similar. But you don't get the push pull effect from the rear fan this way. Issues with ram and case clearance forced the change

Have you installed the dragon center? I am having huge fps drops with this card in modern warfare. after 5-10min of gaming it drops from 170 to 30 and wont come up again. I really could need some help over here.

There is a 3070 model. Was available on a Belgian site and ordered it yesterday. But very pricey at 700€, as it was the most expensive 3070 they offered, but also one of few they had in stock (others were the Gigabyte 3070 Eagle OC and Vision)

I tried to take the back plate off to clean it but realized upon a light tug that it has thermal pads so I left it alone. During benchmarking the backplate gets hot enough to cook an egg, so I guess it's doing it's job.
