Recently started binging all the pass it on videos in Chrono order (because 2020 took the normal seasonal depressy to a whole nother level and these boys have a magical way of beating up the big SAD) and now I've started on the ultimate battles. I gotta say, it is an absolute joy to see these oldies and realize once again how far these guys have come since the beginning. I never would have remembered a time when Baz had never made a Yorkshire pudding! I'm loving this and it's just what the doctor ordered. Thank you boys. You do the world a great service.

I'm impressed that Barry made that Yorkshire pudding and mike made that duck all by themselves. (Though, Barry could have just nixed the buns and made sliders by splitting the Yorkshire puddings). For me, it's between these two (sorry Jamie). If pressed for a vote, leaning towards Mike. Maybe.

Cubemasterchris With pulled meat (like pork) you normally cook it before you actually make it. Normally I have cooked meat in my fridge if I want a pulled meat sandwich because I'm not waiting around. You just have to learn to be prepared

Mike's duck confit and here's why: Barry's sandwich was a great start for this battle. It looked very impressive and I'm sure it tasted delicious but main criticism is that the bread was sliced too thick. I was expecting for him to bake a giant Yorkshire pudding and use that as the bun or take 3 puddings and create 3 slider-esque/mini sandwiches. A solid #2nd place. Jamie, a bonus point for making your own bread but the sandwich just.... I dot know. Sorry. Mike. Oh Mike, you had me at duck. Now this is sandwich I would move to live beside that food cart for. This is sandwich I would happily die eating. So maybe it doesn't even begin to compare to how epic Barry and Jamie's look but I feel that it's humble appearance has its own charm.

In one word, Mike. In a bit more than one: Barry's steak just looked perfect, and the puddings also look like they turned out great, but I feel the sandwich is a bit much. something everyone seems to forget, or maybe its just me, another TOP trait of a Sandwich is: you can Bite it. from top bun to bottom bun, it has to fit in the mouth. otherwise you can just throw any dish on a Plate and put 2 slices of bread next to it, same outcome. so by default, Sandwich 3 wins for me. because the other two dont qualify as Sandwiches for me. its just dishes with Bread as a Plate.
