Well, they're using quite professional equipment. Looks like a C100 and a wireless microphone system. Obviously there's at least 2 cameras going around, so I'd say we're talking 10 to 15k (USD) for the cameras and lenses with microphone alone and that really depends on the lens since you can spent easily 5k on a lens for that camera. Well, it kinda looks like around $5k per camera. Of course the professional camera doesn't make a professional video - that would be too easy. A great camera and audio system does make it easier though because you have less inconsistencies in edit. Well, it's a bit like cooking: the right tools and the right ingredients make it easier - that doesn't mean those automatically make a great dinner :-)

@BeesAndButtercups7 жыл бұрын
They are heritage tomatoes. A non-hybrid cultivar. Compared to most varieties sold in supermarkets they are less resistant to diseases and don't keep as long. They also don't have that genetic mutation that makes "regular" tomatoes nice and evenly red, hence the funky colours. But to make up for the points above they tend to be a lot sweeter and fuller in flavour. If you ever get the chance I recommend you give them a try, they are very delicious :)
@reidecember7 жыл бұрын
Ilkaisawkward mini pumpkins are so cute!
@edwardshields66916 жыл бұрын
If you try the ancient varieties of heritage tomatoes you will never look back on those things that we find in the supermarket! There are so many varieties. The trouble with the heritage tomatoes is they do not travel well. The Supermarket varieties were built to travel not for flavor. The heritage varieties are the ones our grandparents and great grandparents grew on their own land. Many have not been seen in decades if not over a century, but they still exist, and they are delicious !

Damn this could actually be a series where each time the budget increases (maybe by 5 or 10 quid) and maybe when it gets really high they'll be expected to make a full course. I think its great that you showed the guys walking around the market and buying the ingredients, lets us see the brief recipe thought process of the recipe and the shopping experience too. Great addition there and would love to see that again. Maybe next time give them slightly more time for planning but overall great video. Loved that there was no time limit though since they can then be more relaxed and make a dish that they're satisfied with. Though dishes didn't seem that amazing (probs the lack of time for recipe planning)this was an amazing video and i think many people, me included, would love to see more of. More chef vs chef please!

It was probably overcooked. Clafoutis is supposed to be fairly custardy and the mold he used was really small. The size of the mold would make it very hard to get the right consistency for clafoutis and it probably just turned out like a really thick and dense pancake if not burnt.
