Wow, what an excellent question, we must have been to over 25 now, all in Europe and are looking to add some US at some point! We absolutely loved Triglav and have more content coming from a second trip we made to all the Alpine countires this summer. You may like our video on the Gerez National Park in Portugal which was amazing. Thanks for your question, hope you get to Europe soon and have a great day 😃

Do You recommend doing this trip with 2 kinds (7 and 15)?

Hi Elizabeth and thanks for your question. None of the walks we did are very difficult and only take up about a half day in each place, there is a bit of driving to do to get to the different destinations from wherever you're staying in Triglav, which might be something to consider. Vintgar and Tolmin Gorge are especially accessible as they are both boardwalks and the car train (between Tolmin and Bohinska where we stayed) is SO fun, whatever age you are! We don't have children but would have loved to do something like this when we were young. I hope this helps. Have a wonderful trip if you go, it's a beautiful part of the world! 😀

@@packlunchandtravel thanks so much for your answer! We are familiar with driving long distances. We travel each year from the Netherlands to portugal in 23 hours 🫢😅🙈 And travel a lot in Europe. We’re dit you stay in Germany? Since we are travelling from the Netherlands I would like to stop somewhere in Bavaria and Salzburg as well. We do hike in Portugal, but there I’m familiar with the region. Slovenia will be the first time. But seems fun and beautiful! Definitely going at the end of April

@@2727ELE Wow, what a coincidence, in the next video, coming on Sunday, we hike in Peneda Geres national park Portugal for 3 days, is that where you go? We loved it! We flew from the UK to Ljubliana and haven't yet been to Germany, so can't recommend anything there but we're currently looking at a trip through the Alps including the south of Germany, following the Austrian boarder which all looks stunning. You will love the whole of Triglav National Park in Slovenia, it's spectactular. Let us know if you want any more information. All the best to you and the family, Ben and Sarah 😀

@@packlunchandtravel that’s a coincidence! Portugal is were my parents were born. I n Know the Geres region, and love it! But we are from Tomar region. Love to hike there following the steps of dinosaurs. Not much explored by tourism, but stunning! With amazing caves, and mountains and water falls (ok, water is not there in the summer, to hot! Still amazing views). Serra de Aire e Cadeeiros natural park, places around are Tomar, Fatima, Porto de Mos, Torres Novas.

@@2727ELE We completely agree - Portugal is very underrated for hiking and you've given us our next trip idea, Serra de Aire looks beautiful, so thank you so much! Wonderful to connect with you 😀
