I found a solution in the meantime while you decide whether to either replace the faulty actuator or don't bother. I figured that if the driver side actuator is malfunctioning, you can manually lock the door latch on drivers' side from the passenger side. Just reach over and flip the switch! Now the automatic door lock will function, locking all doors and the mirrors will fold in as well. Cheers!

Also, get yourself a cheap wee used go-pro! For a video like that that's a how to being able to have both your hands in the video and show everything you're doing without having to worry about holding the camera etc would be great. You could totally make a tonne of videos like that and they'd be really helpful and probably grab a few extra views and subs!

Them kids are annoying in the background id move house with a big enough drive for all your cars aswell. Also buy youself a pigs foot tool will pop them clips out easy. And also rule number one start from bottom when taking a door panel off.
