do you know any app that allows me to enter any guitar chords to a loop and it plays the loop? I want to enter the guitar chords manually, not recording an actual guitar sound but say typing G minor on a specific time stamp and another D major on another time stamp and so forth. after finishing just hit play and the sounds come playing and it loops.

There's plenty of free circle of fifths apps. Not as sleek as this one, mind you, but they are all able to do the same thing this one does (some of them even a bit better).....except the porting straight to ableton as midi, that is actually really cool.

How about going out of key (which is a very common thing)? I haven't seen any app that manages to do this well and this one seems to not do it at all. Yeah it's great for writing basic, simple chord progressions within one key, but personally I think that's quite boring, at least in the long run. Also, damn this app is expensive for what it does!!!

Levi Niha So..? I mean, the same happens with this app, you can use it and make bad music too! My point is by learning music theory you have more control and you understand what are you doing, you're not restricted because the app's chord progression and things like that. (My comment wasn't an attack, I just don't understand why many EDM producers try to skip learning music! They should learn those stuff before they do anything in the software, I mean, they want to do music.. LEARN MUSIC in first place!)
