You can change the settings in auto kit so it boots and connects every time you start your car

FYSA - I have the same thing for my 09 Forester ... prepare for the Bluetooth to go out and not work. Prepare for it to freeze all the time and the only thing you can do is pull over and turn the car off and on again.

@@beakhan I hope yours doesn't either - but after getting mine - I did more research and a LOT of people have the same issue. ALSO - be prepared for the reverse camera (if you install one) to not work properly - mine doesn't automatically change to the camera when put into reverse - even though everything is wired up correctly (pictures and video sent to Seicane and they confirmed); only thing I can do is use the "FCAM" app and manually show the camera. They were good about replying to any issues - but could NEVER solve any problems :/

Every radio I've ever owned has color settings so you can match the color best or perfectly to the stock interior, also don't care if it looks dated it's about the audio quality for me.

Be careful with the squeak on your clutch. Get it checked out by the dealer then after call Subaru of America and hassle them about it. The squeak is the spot welds that are coming apart and once they’re gone your clutch will be completely disconnected, dangerous/fatal if you’re on the fwy. There may be a recall on it.

I have the exact same head unit in my WRX for about 2 years now. Those other wires are for other features you can add to the unit, like GPS, TPMS monitoring, rear view camera, eta... I love my radio.

@@kaser92337 I have the exact same unit on my 08 STI. I just got my steering wheel controls working today. In case you are wondering, you connect 1 of your steering wheel control wires from your OEM harness to the "key 1" wire on the seicane head unit. The 2nd steering wheel control wire from your OEM harness connects to ground. Key 2 wire on the seicane harness can be left disconnected entirely. Works like a charm!

Yes it will fit search up tomei expreme ti catback just be aware its one of the loudest exhausts for the subi and you will get stopped by cops if you live in an area with high patrol activity

Fyi with those head units, the mic hole will allow dust to get behind the screen. Also, the microphone isnt the best, especially once you have an exhaust.
