Great set up. Couple of items to consider... Sail needle with thread, Finger nail clipper, patch of mole skin, Strip of paper to write on with your sharpe, golf pencil might be good as well, bandana, attach gloves to outside, Spare money... Like you said everyone has different needs. Your set up is strong, just a couple of considerations.

Your EDC pouch is really well equipped . Great job on choosing your items. I am sure you will get hundreds of other suggestions some needed some more comfort but in the end its always what works for you and your location. There are no two EDC bags or pouches alike. Its always a work in progress, I am on my 12th or 13th bag/pouch now I think. I live in the High Sierra Nevada Mountain Range so my EDC would be completely different from someone who lives in Florida or Washington State. Different climates different gear. Great video and thanks for sharing, two thumbs up!

Brilliant setup! I have saved the Sawyer mini water filtration system to my Amazon wishlist. I haven't seen the paracord before, looks great. You could add a pen, I've just brought a tactical one that is multi-functional which I love. Thank you for sharing, you have a new subscriber 👍🏽

A S.O.L bivvy would be a great addition to this. It’s small enough to be clipped onto the bag. It also provides a great sleep system and protection too.

No problem I hike and use that along with a homemade fleece blanket liner. As a make shift mummy sleeping bag.

I would also recomend adding a little tea candle or tallow lipstick. Once you set them on fire, they can provide stable fuel to start bigger fire even with not perfectly dry wood, and thus saving your lighter fluid and matches.

A verry good and solid kit. My sugestion: some water tablets as a backup. Maybe have a look for your bandaids some kits have the shitty ones. I always use extra strong bandaids they hurt when pulling off but always stay put when need too!

Excelent survival bag! How about adding toilet paper tablets? In a dry state they are pressed to an extremly compact tablet and with a little bit of water they expand quickly to full size. I belive that in a survival situation, proper hygiene can save you from some nasty bacterial infection. Since it also highly increases your overall comfort, it can drasticly boost your morale and thus fortify your will to survive.
@ultimateequipment233 жыл бұрын
Thank you! 🤗 Oh yes have them on my list to buy them since somebody else recommended them as well. Also I agree they are so vital!

Gorilla duct tape - extra durable tape that you can repair pretty much 80% of your broken equipment with. If you remove the inner hollow cardboard cylinder, which originaly holds the tape in place, you can wrap several meters of it around a small mirror, making it quite compact package and at the same time getting a well protected mirror, which can be usefull for help signalization or to identify and treat wounds at part of your body that you normally don't see.
@ultimateequipment233 жыл бұрын
Ah yes, I've got the tape and I am just looking for a simple and durable mirror. Thank you again! 👍

I also think you might want to add one high calorie chocolate bar with as much sugar and fat as you can possibly find. Even though it is unhealthy in a long term view and thus not good to be consumed often, it can drasticly boost your morale and energy in short term, which can make you walk for that one extra mile that might separate you from life and death. Also possibly a small concentrated caffeine tablet can have similar effect, prolonging your abillity to safely drive a vehicle in a desparate situations.

Uh ... weight of this? For me personally EDC and survival does not go together, but it's quite good set for 3+ days hiking and sleeping under open sky or tent. And in this case I would ditch Leatherman for foldable saw or axe. And I appreciate sun lotion, for some reason almost no one mentions it and I EDC it from april to august. Lighter is weird, does it have wick?
@ultimateequipment233 жыл бұрын
Yeah I need to weight it. Will show that in my next video where I will update the list with the more stuff that I put into it. Sun lotion yes, it's in there - next to the flashlight. The lighter? yes. Check my review on it.
@pavelperina76293 жыл бұрын
@@ultimateequipment23 Ok, for me it seems quite reasonable for some purposes such as hiking/camping/long trips that can possibly go wrong. Fire is little debatable, cause it needs some purpose: signaling - might work great in national park :), cooking, boiling water to kill microbes (you don't have any container for that) and last one is just convenience - source of little bit of heat and light. Where I live it's sometimes easier to start the fire than to sustain it when everything is wet, so I would possibly add something that can burn for a while: candle as a source of wax, some fuel tablets ... well, hand saniter, paracord or bandage might do the job. I would add needle/safety pin/mini tweezers for removing splinters, thorns, ticks ... Then I found useful to have piece of wire to replace zip ties and to have some small zip-lock bag for protecting phone against the rain. And maybe piece of paper with important phone numbers, copy of id card and some extra money.

Hinderer just expensive, with 20cv blade not heavy duty. In survival situation, the cheapest one i bet you will used more than expensive one. Try SR1 cold steel, it's come with blade thickness 4.8mm, 4" and cpm s35vn.. You can beat him till death, tri ad lock almost close to fixed blade. If not hit the ground, bone or burl wood, your blade never chip trust me.
