Perfect tip on using the table saw to cut the piping. I’ve heard some horror stories and didn’t want to buy another tool just for this project.

It worked perfectly and was very safe. The key is supporting the long part so it doesn't fall when cut free.

Looks great Chris! Now for me to start on mine. As I said before, with the new addition of my AR4 CNC and all my other wood hungry machines to be put into place, I'll and up with one heck of a dust storm if I don't start soon.

Notice, there are no 90° fittings. I used 2 45's to make a bend.

If I have a 4" dust collection port on my dust collector, will immediately transitioning into a 6" pipe help me at all?

No. If you start with 4" you will need to continue with that size. You can reduce but not enlarge. The volume won't increase more than the smallest diameter. Enlarging to 6" from 4" may actually decrease performance.
