I love industry specific kits. Years in live production entertainment then military then HVAC I've had so many kit bags and tools have migrated from kit to kit.. that homemade amp tester is going in my kit next. That's brilliant. Over the years I like seeing a masters kit, because it always has that 1 tool or maybe 2 that the apprentice looks at and goes what?why?!, I love finding that tool and the reason why it's there.

Just found you Dan, and Man-O-Man Dan 😂 am I blessed I did. You and I are Brothers in Repairs and a love for great tools. I too 100% agree we need “WAY MORE PEOPLE WITH DIRTY HANDS”. You are also correct about the Fluke T5 as being the greatest all around Quick and Easy Electrical Tester on the Planet 🌎. We also agree about not being Brand Specific. Get the tool that is well designed and reasonably priced and made in the USA if possible. Someone just said to me “ Is that all you can talk about is tools” at a lunch with 4-other men ! I had to laugh 😂. It’s because we like to share our experiences with the good and bad tools to help out our fellow brothers🙏 on the Planet 🌎 . As you can see in my Picture with my 2-Sons we, installed and tested that $75,000. Drycleaning Machine. We used a Ton of different tools, Ridgid 300 Pipe Threader, Milwaukee 3/4”Rotary Hammer, Pallet Jack, Custom made Machine moving double axel moving skates, 5,000lb rated 7’ Johnson Bar/Dutchman Bar it has a 7’Oak handle with 2-Wheels and a Metal bent Scoop on the end to move Large Machines. Just finished rebuilding an Air Operated Laundry Press with a 5” Dia. Air lifting Cylinder it was Cool to work on. I’ve also worked on 4-Movies In Special Effects in Hollywood Ca. You should see 18-Wheeler Trailers filled with Tools from floor to Ceiling 😱. It would blow your mind. They have Zero concern for spending money on tools and they rent back to the production Company any Machine Tools they use. These guys buy Welders etc. just to have the production companies pay for it. I’m married 42-years, 5-Children 3/Girls,2/Boys . We’re practicing Catholics and have a Really, Really Blessed Life. We’re on 50 acres of beautiful land in a Valley with 80’ Doug Fir trees surrounding us on top of a Hill 15-miles from Eugene, Oregon. Couldn’t have ANY OF IT if it weren’t for continuous Miracles . We have a Great sign in our house that says “ We’re Clean Enough To Be Healthy & Messy Enough To Be Happy “. It’s all about Moderation, St. Paul said it “ Let your Moderation be known to all Men. It’s Awesomeness Man. Dig ✌️😎 your Video Thanks for the time you spent, God Bless You for that. I’ll try to reach out to you so we can share stories. Peace ☮️ Out Dan, BobbyG

Hell yeah . A add on would be 4" harbor freight magnetic tray 4" one a key split ring and a carabiner or dog leash snap . Drill a 1/8 hole in side of the tray thread the split ring through hole and add the carabiner. You always have magnetic tray attached tool bag or in you on a ladder disassembling something above your head the magnetic tray will be clipped to your belt loop.

You are carrying too much weight with too much redundancy and specialization IMO, and the additional weight is stressing those bags. Slightly less if well planned is a little more in this case. Like 3 needle nose i am 1/3 the waythrough the vid and and I am sure there are more. I have also seen costly brand loyalty in the fluke meters so far. LOVE THIS VID! i am not putting down just noticing! The tools taken out, would not be far away, in a small metal tool box behind drivers seat seat. to do trades of tools before walking in the house. or Biz.

Dan, you are absolutely killing it with your experience and info. Thanks for sharing your bag. Please check out the Hakko CHP-170 flush cutters online. $5 or less on Amazon. They are high quality consumable flush cutters, delicate enough for model making and perfect for many tasks from electrical to hygiene. I buy bulk packs and give them away, I keep a fresh and "used" pair in all benches and bags. You can clip all sorts of things like zip ties perfectly flush, not just "almost" with your diamond flush cutters. And they're incredibly cheap! You will be buying more for the house and bench.

@michaelmontes6509
@michaelmontes6509 Жыл бұрын
@@dansproshop Yes I can see that. I'm guessing that you do a lot of industrial work. Where its termination blocks and stranded wire. Linesman pliers would be better for solid wire in residential work. Maybe you would use lineman pliers to push or pull a fish tape. I own rental property. I am my own maintenance man so I'm working on a new tool bag. I think I'm going to need three or four tool bags to get the job done. Thank you for sharing. I'm strongly thinking about moving over to a tool bag like yours.
