If it's smaller clumps, one pull. For bigger ones, it takes it in pieces.

So glad I found this. I'm the guy who missed a pre-emergent app, and now have a poa annua problem after never having dealt with it before. Before this season I literally thought I was invincible (to poa annua at least).

Burn poa annua with a torch while strolling the yard. Burn up the seeds when they fall off. No poa annua next year.

Awesome video and timing. I saw this on Amazon yesterday and I was debating on buying it. I’m also dealing with poa and in the process of ripping it out and reseeding. Tho I have too much to use this tool, I’m probably still going to use it for some of the other weeds that are starting to pop us. Thanks for everything you do. God Bless

If you're dealing with poa, you should use a handheld torch with small propane camping tank to burn the plants down and crisp the seeds. You will find very little poa the following spring since the seeds were cooked. If you have big poa patches get the bigger torches that use the big tanks. They have those torches at Harbor Freight.

At minimum, put a little soil or sand. Depending on your grass type, you may not need to put seed as it will fill in by itself.

I hate Poa, neighbors garbage tries to spread info my lawn been digging it out and reseeding yearly. I'm about to give up the battle way to much work. Been putting down Prodiamine every year but still getting poa randomly.

Prodiamine isn't all that affective on poa. You need Barricade or Dimension. I'm finding that as long as I pull them as soon as they pop up, I can handle it. Once I turn my attention elsewhere, they'll spread like wild fire.

@@DaddingAllDay Yes, it has 2 barbed blades that go down around the weed. Then you twist and pull up. Wonder which is the best in regards to leaving behind roots. 🤔
