Is the adjustable support lifting the nase of the rotary tool off the table?

Yes, the adjustable support module sits on the same surface as the rotary tool. In my example, they both sit on the honeycomb panel (inside the riser base). If you're using wooden risers instead, you'll have the rotary and support module sitting on the base plate. I hope this answers your question.

The design I purchased was made for a 20 ounce tumbler, and then I just had to make sure it was sized to get as close to the silver rim (edge of the powder coating) as possible. I used framing to preview where the laser would engrave and made adjustments until I felt it was close enough to the edge of the powder coating. Framing is your friend to preview the laser path before you process the job. I hope this helps! The measuring tape comes with the xTool Rotary tool, which you can find here (affiliate link): shrsl.com/4892f. The tape has color coding to determine the level for the wooden risers or honeycomb panel and the roller gear (A, B, or C).

Can this do 40oz tumblers? And this was answered in the video please forgive me

Yes, you should be able to do a 40oz tumbler. My 40oz Stanley cup mouth is the same size as the aqua tumbler I engraved in this video (about 4"). For tumblers with handles, just make sure you can unscrew the handle. Good luck!

Sorry you're having trouble! Can you tell us your settings (power, speed, and lines per cm) and give more details about what you're trying to engrave?

If you’re seeing lots of lines, maybe take your lines per cm up. I used 200 lpc and a speed of 150 mm/s for mine. I use a magic eraser to clean it after engraving.
