Exactly. But there are some great reviewers that don't compromise on integrity. Number 1 on my list is the "Just Josh" channel. There are also other good ones that rarely do "sponsored videos" (AKA advertisements), I think: "jarrod's tech", "Matthew Moniz" and "Dave2D", for instance.

ASUS is paying creators a lot of money, which is leading to biased reviews that feel more like 10-minute ads. This practice seems to be an attempt to prevent mediocre reviews. It's unfair because Apple doesn't pay for reviews, so influencers often criticize Apple for small issues, possibly to satisfy anti-Apple sentiments.

If you guys want a real review of the laptop I have had the AMD version for a month now. I will be trading it in for the Lunar Lake S14 version. The build is great, Asus did a really good job with it. Screen is fantastic make sure you go into MyAsus and set Color Gamut to DCI-P3 (when not in HDR) . Speakers are amazing They are in the top 1% of all laptop speakers ive ever heard. Keyboard types great. I am doing programming and did notice that the tab key is a bit more sticky so that sucks make sure you test all keys. Not really that much screen wobble. There is some but nothing major unless you are sitting and using it during an earthquake you wont notice it. Color wise the finish is nice. The darker one is the one I have it is more grey then I like it to be. I wish it was slightly more darker. Thats just preference though. Both my gf and mother say it looks really good. The ceraluminum is great, I understand why ASUS is bragging so much about it. There isnt really any fingerprints left on this bad boy unless you eat something fatty and touch it. Id personally if I had the choice would go with the white version. But they dont sell them over here. The grey one is still amazing looking. But the color is honestly just preference. I also wear silver bracelet on my hand and its got some stones on it nothing hard like diamonds just some cheap ones. And It will touch the wrist are alot. SO far the material hasnt scratched so it seems like its really top of the line quality. Honestly only reason I am trading it in is because the AMD chip sucks. The performance is shit unless you run it in max performance mode but thats when you get another problem whihc is the shitty battery life. expect 4-6 hours in performance mode and 8-10 in power saving mode. And this is with brightness turned down. So hopefully the new Intel chip fixes the battery life because the laptop by itself is really good.

I have had a Zenbook with this power button design for 10 years and didn't have a single unwanted power off. It's designed well. There are much bigger problems here. Like Asus paying for positive "reviews", or Asus completely blocking the market with the new mobile CPUs from AMD. I wonder if they fixed the hinges on their ultrabooks. On my Zenbook, they used *glue* next to the vent to hold the hinge onto the body. I was running a long CPU-heavy task on the bus and heard a loud snap as I quickly closed the lid. The tape/glue was no longer tacky at all thanks to the heat. Asus blamed me and said I shouldn't hold it by the corner. So many of their products seem perfect on paper, but their software and policies are equally opposite ruining the experience.

i had the last gen of this but yeah this Zenbook feels like a game-changer, especially with that Lunar Lake processor driving the ship. It’s impressive how Asus packed this much power and sleek design into such a lightweight machine. The fact that it still holds onto essential ports like HDMI and USB-A is a big win, considering how many brands have ditched them in the pursuit of “thin.” Plus, the scratch-resistant ceramic-like finish is a smart move, especially for those of us tired of fingerprint-covered laptops. This could easily become a go-to for students, creators, and professionals alike. Honestly, I’m sold on the innovation here!

I need it to handle closed lid operation well and with those fans then blasting against the screen, it will probably have a hard time stayin cool. This really is a huge oversight from Asus imo, since many people use their laptops like this. Shouldve just put a few more millimeters in there to have a cooling solution that fires out the back... Good tech direction however still waiting for proper GPU pairing with efficient gaming laptops and more than appalling 8gb VRAM. So if they can do a 12gb VRam unit with something powerful and efficient like this, I'm in

As others pointed out, this whole video is an advert and promoting Intel, the company that scammed their customers. You guys lost your way with this channel.

I will rather buy 2-3x thicker laptop (1.5-2.1cm) and get something that doesn't cook itself (and my lap). Idk, but this video felt the most disingenuous from all the sponsored review-like vids you put out in the past. Like you were just saying lines from corpo email. Really nice sponsored video, really bad video for your subscribers.

Would be nice if you compared and contrasted it with the AMD version instead of pretending that all these features are exclusive to this model.

Could you compare it with Macbook Air (m1/m2) ? I am curious how far behind Intel is. I am thinking about: build time for Android Studio / Flutter project on virtual device or complex java project, I am thinking about real students' scenario from life. Greetz

Funr review looking forward to full with actual benchmarks If Lunar is close to hype, I'd pick it up if for a hundy or two they gave 64 gigs ram, soldered 32 gigs is no go, I keep laptops for over 5 years, I'm using 32 gigs ram today, btw, that's on a 7 year old laptop, having soldered max out at 32 gigs doesn't make sense

@@HardwareCanucks sadly, I'll have to wait for 2nd generation when they start offering reasonable amounts of ram that won't be obsolete in 2 years, on Saturday motherboard that means at least 64- gigs

@@HardwareCanucks Thanks Marquis, (is that how it's spelled? please let me know. Lunar lake is just about here, but now AMD announced something momentous: AMD's now allowing choice for allotting on board RAM as dedicated to IGPU, these CPUs support over 200 gigs ram, before this was announced, 32 gigs was "ok but not future proofing" as of AMD's announcement, 32 gigs RAM on an iGPU box is no longer acceptable unless you'll be happy with a chrome box I'd love this Lunar lake CPU but they'll need to provide similar functionality to their iGPU, otherwise it's back to AMD for me. I'd still like to see CAMM2 socketed RAM though, thinner, faster than soldered, if you could get that dell in to review, seeing what upgrading RAM involves that would be great. Looking forward to your full on review of these Lunar lakes, thanks again

it's still slightly (Barely, arguably) heavier than the lenovo x1 carbon which is fully featured. I would very much love a significantly lighter laptop (even if it sacrifices cpu power). my use case for a laptop is mostly as a remote desktop terminal into my 9950x/4090/192gb desktop workstation (and some low power av playback stuff when i'm on a plane). I just want the lightest laptop possible with a long battery life that runs windows/linux with a good keyboard and trackpad. I would just buy an android tablet for this purpose, but I use the keyboard and trackpad a lot and it's inconvenient to use a bluetooth keyboard and tablet on your lap or on an airplane tray table.
