ASUS is paying creators a lot of money, which is leading to biased reviews that feel more like 10-minute ads. This practice seems to be an attempt to prevent mediocre reviews. If you guys want a real review of the laptop I have had the AMD version for a month now. I will be trading it in for the Lunar Lake S14 version. The build is great, Asus did a really good job with it. Screen is fantastic make sure you go into MyAsus and set Color Gamut to DCI-P3 (when not in HDR) . Speakers are amazing They are in the top 1% of all laptop speakers ive ever heard. Keyboard types great. I am doing programming and did notice that the tab key is a bit more sticky so that sucks make sure you test all keys. Not really that much screen wobble. There is some but nothing major unless you are sitting and using it during an earthquake you wont notice it. Color wise the finish is nice. The darker one is the one I have it is more grey then I like it to be. I wish it was slightly more darker. Thats just preference though. Both my gf and mother say it looks really good. The ceraluminum is great, I understand why ASUS is bragging so much about it. There isnt really any fingerprints left on this bad boy unless you eat something fatty and touch it. Id personally if I had the choice would go with the white version. But they dont sell them over here. The grey one is still amazing looking. But the color is honestly just preference. I also wear silver bracelet on my hand and its got some stones on it nothing hard like diamonds just some cheap ones. And It will touch the wrist are alot. SO far the material hasnt scratched so it seems like its really top of the line quality. Honestly only reason I am trading it in is because the AMD chip sucks. The performance is shit unless you run it in max performance mode but thats when you get another problem whihc is the shitty battery life. expect 4-6 hours in performance mode and 8-10 in power saving mode. And this is with brightness turned down. So hopefully the new Intel chip fixes the battery life because the laptop by itself is really good.

I was running a long CPU-heavy task on the bus and heard a loud snap as I quickly closed the lid. The tape/glue was no longer tacky at all thanks to the heat. Asus blamed me and said I shouldn't hold it by the corner. So many of their products seem perfect on paper, but their software and policies are equally opposite ruining the experience.

i had the last gen of this but yeah this Zenbook feels like a game-changer, especially with that Lunar Lake processor driving the ship. It’s impressive how Asus packed this much power and sleek design into such a lightweight machine. The fact that it still holds onto essential ports like HDMI and USB-A is a big win, considering how many brands have ditched them in the pursuit of “thin.” Plus, the scratch-resistant ceramic-like finish is a smart move, especially for those of us tired of fingerprint-covered laptops. This could easily become a go-to for students, creators, and professionals alike. Honestly, I’m sold on the innovation here!

I would very much love a significantly lighter laptop (even if it sacrifices cpu power). my use case for a laptop is mostly as a remote desktop terminal into my 9950x/4090/192gb desktop workstation (and some low power av playback stuff when i'm on a plane). I just want the lightest laptop possible with a long battery life that runs windows/linux with a good keyboard and trackpad. I would just buy an android tablet for this purpose, but I use the keyboard and trackpad a lot and it's inconvenient to use a bluetooth keyboard and tablet on your lap or on an airplane tray table.
