I could not thank you enough for this tactic mate. I started my first season (23/24) with Newcastle and used this tactic. With no signings and Stefan bajetic on loan I got them to the top of the league, top of the ucl group stage, and progressing in the fa cup (eventually winning it against city), all by January. During the winter window, the board gave access to more transfer funds so I bought Lee kang-in from psg and diomande from sporting. At the end of the season we had won the treble. The highest win was 7-0 away at Luton. My favourite matches were when we won 4-0 away at city, 5-0 home against Chelsea, and overturning a 2-0 loss against Real Madrid at home in the round of sixteen.

Thank you so much for your awesome content Josh - I am enjoying every video 🙂 Fun fact - I built a tactic with pretty much the same roles and insturctions some days ago, but I went for a 6-3-1 with two inverted wingbacks instead of your Fullbacks and I used two complete Wingbacks instead of the inside forwards. But it really works - I played with Leyton Orient and knocked out Aston Villa AND Manchester Utd. in the Carocub! I was inspired from your FM23 7-Back Tactic and loved the shape. Maybe you can do a simular tactic again? My very best greetings from Germany 🙂

This is arguably the best underdog tactic in fm i just beat city 2-1 in the carabao cup and the only chances they had were either from corner kicks or long shots 😂

Hey I got a tactic I want you to try it's 433 with a. DLF IW attack. IW support BBM. CM attack DM defend FB support. BPD. CD. WB support It's a gegenpress with the only change being stay on foot. This is my fm23 tactic but I'm busy right now because life you know so haven't got to try it out in fm24. won every trophy and had a 3.62 goals per game. Had a 115 goal season multiple times as well. Only thing is you need a good striker to convert chances since he would be you main goal scorer.

@@JoshDaly I was a bit surprised myself. Made it out of the group without losing but was certain we'd get knocked out in the quarters. Beat Haiti and Iceland. Won 1-0 in ET against Belgium, then had a semi final against England. Was certain we'd get flattened by them, but managed to hold on to 0-0 through ET. Harry fucking Maguire missed his penalty and we were in the final. For some odd reason, we completely controlled the match against France in the final beating them 2-0 with Mbappe getting sent off in the 80th minute. It's my greatest ever FM experience and i've played the game since CM 01.
