5:06 Actually for the R6 you can power your camera from the power bank. Pay attention to how the battery indicator is greyed out. That means it’s using the power bank, or a v mount battery! ☺️😃🙌🏽

I also use a mirrorless camera for video work, but the amount of rigging you have to do to make it usable really shows the limits they have. True video and cinema cameras don't have issues with overheating, no time limits, they usually come with ND filters built in, their ergonomics don't push you to add extra handles and SDI cables beat HDMI any day of the week when it comes to reliability and solidity.

That's the big advantage of the Panasonic gh5 and gh6 - no heat problems..... Good video and a nice rig.

i like how you utilize powerbanks rather than spending on v mounts, this creates a safe space for us little creators to actually utilize the same principles without spending a lot of money on a battery that does the same at this level(if we are talking about only firing up the camera and monitor)

I LOVE the black mamba cage for hybrid shooting. I really like the Tilta r5c cage on both the r5c and r6 for video specific rigs.

It adds so much versatility! I'll have to check out the Tilta!

Hi Anthony this question is more related to your editing. I saw some of your were in low light environments but your footage is so clean. What do you use to denoise?

Hi Anthony, thanks for always delivering great content. Q: Could you make a video about focussing when filming different situational content? AF using different modes and MF using focus peaking. Being a medical videographer I find it challenging to switch between the two and always stick with AF modes due to the fast pace nature of this job but yet my R6 with a 35mm keeps hunting or takes awhile to regain focus. Even if you could just share some advice on it, I will highly appreciate it. Thanks in advance✌️

Great review! Are you ever worried about the HDMI cable getting knocked out and then not being able to record? How do you get around that… or does it just not happen? 🤔

awesome video, and very clear. love it! one question though, why did you choose to use the nato wooden handle over the universal side handle (2093B)? Will the latter also work with this set up?

I'm curious as to why you would use a power bank over a V Mount battery? Solid rig though!
@AnthonyGugliotta2 жыл бұрын
It was purely based on cost. V-mount batteries are great, but expensive. For about $60-70 I can get one 20,000 mAh USB power bank.
