Great looking build. Never knew about the step-up rings. It really gives it a cinematic look.

Thank you! Yes, the step up rings are extremely versatile and have saved me on many occasions...

Great work/set up - Been there - done that - got the "T" shirt. Respect that guy BUT - have gone back to pro ENG Shoulder mounted video camera. Easier to operate - 4k - less fiddly and better results ! More important for me is the retention of focus right through the zoom operation with the built in parfocal facility of the broadcast camera. The DSLR is ok for studio requirements but too small/fiddly for broadcast purposes. Just sold all my Canon mirrorless kit and gone back to full Sony Broadcast .

I really enjoy taking a look at how others rig out their cameras and compare it with how I did it. Turns out we have very similar ideas. I used about 85% of the same parts you did to rig out my panasonic g85. Thanks for the great content.

Amazing video bro.. the camera rig looks cool. I do have a question. Do you use ibis while using the cage?
@dreanthonyАй бұрын
Thanks bro...I don't usually use ibis when the camera is fully rigged out as I find that the weight compensates enough for me

I have the r6 and r6mark 2. Thinking of selling them for the R5c. What u think ?
@dreanthonyАй бұрын
I'm right there with you bro...I have the R7 and R8 and I'm really thinking of selling both for an R5C. My only issue is that I'll be giving up 2 camera bodies for 1 and for most client projects I need 3 bodies to work with. But if you are fine with just one camera and you mostly do video then yea get the R5C.

Any reason you're not running the dtap port to your camera and then using DC to the monitor?
@dreanthony Жыл бұрын
No particular reason. I prefer using DC to dtap port to run my monitor and usb-c to keep the battery in my camera charged instead of using a dummy battery.
@mikekreiness561410 ай бұрын
Does it actually charge the camera using USB-C to USB-C from the camera to the V-mount? From what I read it will only do that when the camera is off unless you use a dummy battery. Did you need to do something else for the direct to stock to work?
@dreanthony10 ай бұрын
Great question. Technically when the camera is connected via usb-c to usb-c on a v-mount battery it charges the battery in the camera at a very slow rate. So essentially i get a much longer run time from the camera's battery and also if the v-mount battery dies, i still have some power on my camera from its battery which is one of the reasons why i don't use dummy batteries. I hope this answers your question. Cheers👍

How easily can I adapt this to my Canon EOS R8 camera?
@dreanthony5 ай бұрын
Most parts are easily adaptable to the R8. The cage might be the only thing that you’d need to get for that specific camera seeing that it’s a smaller body

What recording time do you get by adding the Ninja V and External battery? When using my R6 II without any accesories i can only record up to 25-30 minutes on 4k 60fps before the camera is overheated.
@dreanthony Жыл бұрын
I got just around 40 minutes with the ninja v and the external battery in 4k 60fps clog 3. Filming conditions were around 77F so the recording time may vary in more warmer or cooler conditions

Wait....the $400 ninja V records 6k raw? I thought you needed the new Ninja V Ultra for that... Ninja is so confusing
@dreanthony10 ай бұрын
Yeah there was a firmware update on the ninja v that allows the r6ii to record 6k raw.
