I thoroughly enjoyed this video. You made it look fun and simple but I'm sure there is a lot of planning and research that goes into it, but well worth it. It's like 10 bucket list items in one trip.

I did my first ever long road trip in may. Started in cali, drove up to the Oregon high desert, then glacier ntl park. Then Yellowstone and grand Teton. Most memorable week of my life and this video has me calling up my friends planning a second, longer trip. Honestly the thought gives me butterflies I am so excited just thinking about it

Very nice video. Interesting places, for sure. And I know you were limited to 21 days. Y'all made some good choices. Next time, if there is a next time, travel to Big Bend National Park in southwest Texas. It's got mountains, deserts, a major river, tons of trails and places to camp. I prefer the desert parts as shown in my attached video. And, Big Bend is a designated starry night area where light pollution does not exist; small telescopes or binoculars provide even a nighttime activity. You can even cross the international border into a quaint, small Mexican village. Cheers.

Loved everything! But playing loud music in the middle of camping is rude. Sound travels really well and one of our trips was really frustrating dealing with music blasting from a mile or two away after we had intentionally hiked away from everything. We could either hike to where it sounded like it was coming from and hope they weren't dicks and stopped the music or endure. We just dealt with it. Really sucked. 🤦 I really appreciate you going through the time to break down the trip. I'm excited to possibly hit up that river hike! Looked absolutely amazing!

Great road trip! Just curious: did you skip the 3 Washington Parks because of time constraints? This brings the memories of a 5 week camper van road trip my mom, dad and I took in '74, from Texas: Rocky Mountain, Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier, then 5 Canadian parks, to Vancouver BC, and back to Olympic, Mt. Rainier, North Cascades, the 5 parks in Utah, The Canyon, and home. This was mostly for my dad: he'd been working his ass off for years, never taking a break, so I was able to convince a couple of his plumber friends to fill in, and off we went (I paid for everything). Best thing I ever did!!!!! TY for this!

@@worldnomac Greetings! Stanley Park and Gas town for sure!!!! When you do that trip, try to go over to Vancouver Island, and visit Pacific Rim National Park, on the Pacific side of the island, and then go up to visit Buchart Gardens: it's a former limestone quarry that was converted by the owners' wife into one of the world's most impressive botanic gardens (for those of you who like that kind of thing)! If I do one then I’d probably try to just fly to Denver, Go down to NM and Take I-40 and Route 66 and drive around the entire west until I come back to Denver! I won’t cross country now especially with these crazy gas prices coming up and going down and I’ve been to Washington State back in December when I visited family in Seattle, gas prices there are so damn crazy, same with British Columbia! and probably for another summer I’d probably try to fly to Seattle and then drive to Alaska from there lol but generally if I were thinking of cross country, I live near Philly so I’d take Pa Turnpike, I-81 and then I-40 all the way and get off and check out Route 66 Attractions along the way!!! After I check out the entire west I’d probably take I-70 back the entire way until I hit Pittsburgh, then Turnpike all the way home

Solo traveler here, would you recommend a midsized or suv for a road trip

I think it depends on your comfort level. If I was traveling solo I would probably want the most economical vehicle for gas, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. If you plan on living out of a tent it is not as big of a deal then.

Your video is awesome ! We live in the high country co Colorado. Gotta say Bro from real experience you got a little too close to the Moose. Hunting deer with a Henry 44 Magnum I wouldn't get that close to a moose.
