They certainly did her bad after the first season of AOC. They could easily have written her into the second season, it's fantasy after all. The second season barely made sense anyway it was a convoluted mess. But they changed leads and that's the number one mistake movie makers avoid. As popular as the Korean moviemakers are some of them are still amateurs.

This is just not true at all. She was only good as an unemotional assassin but couldn't seem to act when it came to the romance parts. I dont know what was going on, but it was pretty obvious when the second actress came into the picture and was so much more compatible.

No disrespect to Go Yoon Jung playing Naksu in Season 2, but it's really tough to step into the shoes of Jung So Min and play the same character. The audience and fans of the show already fell for Jung So Min as Mu Deok and also the chemistry between her and the OG cast is so strong. The writers and director of Alchemy of Souls definitely really fked up on this decision to sub her out and write themselves into a corner they really didn't need to.

DISAGREE. I believe it was already laid out like this from the beginning. Naksu in S2 is already their from ep 1 of S1. I also think the exchanging of bodies is good. The writers were able to portray more what the Alchemy of Souls can do.

I just discovered her through Alchemy of souls and her performance was a 10 I definitely felt the connection of her character and enjoyed the journey through season 1. She really embodied her characters and how she switches her dialect from MuDeok to Naksu. All the bickering scenes with every character was filled with laughter and her facial expressions really says a lot. Yea noway she lets a knife touch that face or body. Definitely a fan of her now

To play the role as Mudeok and also play the inner character of Naksu shows what a talented actress Jung So Min really is. To be that versatile to make one laugh, cry, sympathize and feel so many other emotions goes to show how outstanding of an actress Jung So Min truly is. Without her in Alchemy of Souls Part 1, the series would not have been fun and worth watching. Part 2 was quite dull and too Cinderellaish by the new female character who seemed desperate to make Uk want her. There was too much of a gap in the acting of Naksu part 1 which was a lot more lively, funny bold, serious and outgoing vs, Naksu in Part 2 who seemed fixated with wanting Uk as her husband. Naksu in Part 2 and Part 2 as a whole was quite different, disappointing and had no funny scenes or outgoing characters like Part 1 had, thanks to So Min. I Wish they could have somehow kept So Min for Part 2 as well; she kept us on our toes.

Late to Alchemy of Souls(I don't like waiting for new seasons, I prefer watching once everything's up and I can binge watch) and knowing her. She really has a ton of expressions and looks very youthful side by side the rest of the cast. She somehow resembles an actress I used to watch, Yoon Eun Hye (other times she reminds me of Suzy, like YEH and Suzy's visuals were merged).
