I see clearly that you have a community of people who follow you authentically, rather than a mass of aimless wanderers that click on many different videos but dont really connect with any one creator in particular. Also, your videos are more advanced and so they’re attracting a higher level of character who has the capacity to digest the real truth what you’re sharing..:) I wanted to ask you something about signing up for youtube partner program. When you sign up do you have to register to get a tax number and declare to the IRS that you’re a company, so to speak? Obviously if you earn money from the ads then this will be necessary. But I only want to sign up (and possibly have the option to turn off the ads). I dont want to earn money with the partner program yet., So basically, Im asking can I sign up without having to register a tax number and not earn money, and all of the bureaucratic paper work that comes with s”starting a “new business”.? I know you have been through this and so I was hoping you could answer my question. Thanks

Hi Yaz, I think it's about the actual earning part that makes the difference, not the ability to potentially earn money. But it depends on the country you live in. When you earn your first dollar, you have to register as a business with the chamber of commerce and declare taxes as a business. There are exemptions here in the Netherlands, if you earn below a certain threshold I believe. But, please contact an accountant, they get payed to know stuff like this for your country.
