This is beyond eloquently written. I think it's of the utmost importance for people to understand that being so skeptical that you no longer believe anything, is just as dangerous and unwise as being gullible and accepting everything that you see as real. There is no room to grow or learn if your mind is already made up even before the information is presented to you. Thinking in extremes on this level will only limit every aspect of a person's life. Imagine the parallel of fully trusting every person you ever meet.Telling someone you hardly know all of your secrets and inner thoughts. Or having no trust for absolutely anyone, not even enough to tell a family member that you care or sympathize with them. It's the same concept, either way, you are really limiting and ultimately hurting yourself. I absolutely love this video and it's message. This year has taught me a lot about how people think and see themselves, and comparing themselves to others. Thinking they're too good to wear a mask in public or denying that the situation is even real, denying it's existence or danger because "that's just what they want you to think". Even my own mother is convinced by psychopath right wing communities online that COVID was merely created in a lab in China and released upon the world for population control. Why? Because the thought of something like it being able to be manifested through sheer coincidence and scientific possibility is just too far-fetched for them. Why us? Why now? It MUST be intentional. The best part about this story to me is humanizing and sympathizing for people that believe these things, that the root of it isn't trying to be evil or offensive, but often a deniyal that bad things can happen and chaos is possible. Who would want to believe what happened at Sandy Hook? It's such a horrifying thought. After all, it's the first stage of grief to deny, and that's okay. As much as I've tried to learn to enjoy being wrong, I'm trying my best to recognize when people have a good reason to disagree with me, even if it's clear they're beliefs aren't based in reality. I've tried working with such people, and have even turned a few around. One lady finally admitted she didn't actually believe in the vaccine conspiracy theory she was pushing and instead was just scared. However, most of them I have found are semi-dangerous people that are living outside of reality. Past a certain point you have to disengage with them or risk them coming after you (I've been accused of being paid off or part of the conspiracy before), as well as not supporting their views by refusing to acknowledge them. It's a tough world, and while I wish I could help them, and certainly humanize them, some are approaching mentally ill and needing more help than a simple discussion can provide.

However in cases outside of life or death decisions like getting the vaccine, the stakes are just so much lower and sometimes it's good just to hear what they have to say, at least for me. Did Bush do 9/11? Most likely (absolutely) not. Does it matter if he did? Maybe, but we can all mourn the loss of so many people. Did Sandy Hook happen? If somebody is convinced it didn't, we can both agree that the loss of a child's life is a terrible thing and we should do everything we can to prevent such things. I'm not saying the goal is to find common ground, but it sure means a good deal to people when we can hear what they say but also hear what they mean. You won't even know that you lived at all, nobody will, we'll just return back to black empty non-existence while the lifeless existing matter of infinite space continues its trajectory. In fact, you don't even have a choice, every particulate of energy had its course decided the instant it exploded in the big bang. Your thoughts, your feelings, even this entire moral construction you've fabricated is the course of physics energy predetermined upon the instant it was set out on its initial path. The impulses of my brain are nothing but the course of energy that physics has already dictated its path. That is if you're an atheist who believes there is no God. You don't have morality, there is no such thing in your world and whatever you arbitrarily invent and call morality isn't, there is no objective good or bad in a Godless reality where EVERYTHING is just the transitioning forms of matter.

Oh I fully and completely believe in God. It's questions like this that have solidified that notion in my mind. When people say you don't need God to be moral, I argue that God IS morality, because there is nothing else in the entire universe where this exists except in the human brain, the one and only subject of Gods arbitrary dictation for behavior. I just find no reason to believe that time, matter, energy, the function form and purpose of all energy and its interaction with all things could create itself, by itself, before it existed in a dimension that simultaneously created itself, by itself, before it existed, in infinite amounts from a finite point of finite size at the very inception of time which also created itself, by itself, before it existed. Logically I see that God MUST exist. Whatever force of creation that could create all this, you would simply have to call it God. I'm suggesting there is no framework to draw from from the atheists perspective that could argue morality as a concept. They will make arguments like, we don't like to feel pain so we decided that causing pain is immoral. This doesn't exist among animals and their constant daily slaughtering of other living creatures hasn't undone any species perpetuation. Furthermore pain and murder is nothing but brain signals reaching different lobes and death being nothing but transitioning matter into another form, no more or less important. So the atheist will argue morality as a point for survival, but there is no moral argument for survival, there is no such thing as survival. Your matter will never be destroyed, it can't be, it will just exist eternally in different forms. So I don't see how an atheist can be OUTRAGED at things like murder or torture, theft and lying, because what is any of that but the trajectory of energy in a meaningless universe of which we are SO INFINITESIMAL that you could argue we don't even really exist in comparison. Theft is matter moving from one location to another, death is matter recycling itself, torture is just a different nerve pathway of the same energy, lying is improperly recording physical reality through subjective memories, memories are finite so when you die your memory just becomes energy coursing through something else. You can see how bleak this all is in truth, because nothing is actually real from an atheists perspective, consciousness is just your randomly arranged neural pathways and physical makeup, it's a lie, a trick fooling itself. Once you ad God does morality as a concept make sense, does individual consciousness make sense, are our actions actually our own and gives purpose and importance to the subjectiveness of our lives. Atheists don't actually know that their moral comprehension is instinctually defined by God, they believe they came up with this code of conduct on their own, God is morality and the only reason we behave like we do is because of the subjective line drawing by a judgmental higher power. Without God nothing matters, everything is neutral because the laws of physics never becomes unbalanced. Us being human, living and happy is no different to all our human composition being redistributed back amongst the earth in the form of earth, trees, plants and water.

The thing about questioning how and why everything exists is that its inherently contradictory to us instinctively. We know that if there is a chair then some creative entity designed and assembled it, for it to be, it had to be made. The laws of physics dictate that matter can't be created, yet the infinite matter, all of which that has or ever will exist spontaneously created itself at the inception of time. Logically if the big bang is an after, we have to ponder about the other side which is the before. We know that nothing in our reality has the ability to create itself, it doesn't have the ability to design or replicate, it can't make new, so it certainly can't make itself especially before it even existed. We are forced to rationalize that there is something before the big bang, the problem is, if anything but God is before the big bang, we are just perpetually chasing the answer, moving the goal post farther and farther away because at SOME POINT there has to be an absolute beginning. To argue that existence has infinitely existed is to argue there is the concept of infinity and time and dimensions and the makings of which to form matter and all things that exist, how are these things real and how is reality real? This is the contradictions of finite existence that necessitates cause and effect. We MUST be looking at a creative force that could design all of this and how it all works, this isn't a glitched out chaotic mess of incompatible creation, it works perfectly as if it was all set up and then sparked into existence by the will of its designer. Whether you are picturing a Jesus like figure in the clouds or not, that creative force would be OUR creator and therefore you would logically call it God. God being the creator of time would therefore be beyond the bounds of time, not restricted by it. This eliminates the question of "What was before God" because time is only a function of our reality, if God created that reality he exists beyond the scope of all the limitations and rules and concepts that form our ability to understand. Logically there has to exist something greater than our dimension of existence, because ours came from something, it literally exploded into what is arguably infinity that confines us. We have no hope, no ability, no possible way to even observe let alone reach the boundaries of our dimension, this is a power of constraint only possible from God. Space is so incomprehensibly huge and mysterious as a message, it tells us we are small, we are nothing, we can never hope to defy the limits imposed upon us, we cannot escape from it, we are the minuscule product of the creator that made all of this and still he chose us to be the most important thing in all of it. Every human society has come up independently with the concept of God, instinctually by the nature of our surroundings. We look up at the sun and the stars and the sky and we all think "how?" "why?" "what could do all this?" They find God in the wrong things for sure, they create Gods, but God as a concept is designed into our brains, we know nothing makes sense until we realize a being of power and creation is at the end of it. That's what I've come to realize, people expect I'll wave the Bible at them and that will make them believe in God, but if they don't respect the authority of the Bible then the message of the Bible wont persuade them. Thats why I argue for the existence of God as necessitated by the logical questions of existence itself, that I think people will come to the conclusion that God must exist and then question which God is the real one after.

Debatably the best shit I've ever seen on youtube for a while. Dont get me wrong...kids are idiots, but when I was young, the internet had only just been granted to teens and senior school students. So there was no place for them to express their immaturity publicly to masses of people...we may have been as dumb and naive given the chance. Besides, I have a good thousand or so young ppl watching my vids and I try to make them as edited as I possibly can from a laptop. They appreciate good editing so I'm sure they'd appreciate this. This is by far one of my favorite videos on KZbin. It teaches people the mentality of people who believe in conspiracies big or small. The most impactful moment is when he says his normal catchphrase but with all the context of the video, it makes us understand that the first part "love with your heart." Has its own multiple of meanings like "Use your brain for everything else." It's to not put your heart into overthinking everything and to have sympathy for others so that your own selfish needs or thoughts don't get in eachother's way. One of the best messages a video could have.
