I bought a vintage desk at a resale shop. The top was a collage of old photographs of a woman's lifetime, sealed under a glass cover. I left the photographs there. I couldn't bear to erase this woman's life. Some things started to happen now and then that led me to think maybe I'd brought a ghost home with that desk. I told her that she was welcome to stay if she came in perfect love and trust; if not then she had to leave. I gave her quiet spaces she could be in, if she wanted, where she wouldn't be bothered, and I told her I didn't want to see or hear her anymore. I haven't seen or heard her since. I stopped buying antiques.

It has been many years. My partner and I had a very old home. We filled with stuff. Most of good quality in time and structure of period. Frankly, we donated to museums and the historical societies. The house itself was energetic. I called it the vortex. Yes many if the items had attachments. Often just imprinted memories. So powerful the vortex. He used to laugh and say, "the house likes me, it loves you!" I guess I was in a state of grace. You feel this in objects. The memories, beware the attachments. Attraction and possession is a slippery slope. You may quote me on this. Always remember. We are made of clay and stardust.only the soul goes on and it is yours. It is not of clay. Protect that.

I worked for a struggling film studio and vfx house for years and whenever times were tough and we finally got a project, the accountant would burn sage and cleanse all four corners of the stage before production started. (She knew better than anyone how badly we needed a success, and she took no chances.)

I'm new to your channel so, I'm not really sure when you and your wife first started really being interested in the paranormal or, what I like to call "A spirits journey" but it's fun to watch someone who's learning new things about the afterlife or considering that there's more than just living and dying. I've questioned all these things too and even though I was always interested or, knew there was more, my awakening came when I actually saw a spirit decades ago. It was a life changing event so I guess I like to see people discovering some of the things that I have and being interested enough to want to learn more. I agree with you about old things too, there's something much more intriguing about owning something with a history. Looking forward to your next video😊

Happy to read your thoughts! I enjoy history and people's stories and I think that is what attracts me most to this subject. The antique store table purchase happened in 2017, crazy to think it has been that long, but I had multiple procedures and surgeries and so much pain during this time, not to mention my wife's battle with cancer in 2018. Life really got in the way. I hope that we will be able to make another episode. In the meantime we will be working on the smaller things, so if you want to help, please share and get the word out! Me and my grown daughter are very spiritual and have experience a lot of paranormal things from living in haunted homes and working at haunted places. We both have seen dishes flying and chairs moving and stuff touching us ect. We both have ancestors alters in our homes so we are safe and spiritually protected. Would be nice to present one of the most important topics for humanity is a soul realisation by professional presentations and masters of energy work such as dearest Harriet! Some people won't understand this and to be honest I don't understand it myself but My Mamaw has my Uncles clothes he was wearing when he died in a car accident at 20 yrs old . My poor Mamaw almost lost her mind when she lost him. How she could even look at those bloodstained clothes . I hope I never know the answer to that question. I was 1 when he died. They are still there along with his wallet and everything in it.. Anyway I unfortunately inherited my Mamaws house from my Mom very unexpected. She was only 54. I practically grew up in this house and there was always this.....feeling about it. Anyway it didn't scare me when I was growing up even though my cousins were actually still are terrified . It's different now though. Darker . Some people say it's because My Mamaw Papaw and Mom died in that damn house.Some say it's the "things" like my Uncles clothes I just don't feel it's that. Like I said I grew up there. This is something else. Something Black is the only way I can begin to try to describe it . Stalking right on top of me. That really bad feeling when something is watching you but you can't see it. I'm sorry for the drawn out comment. I'm getting pretty desperate. The Taxes are way over due. I probably have 60 days before they auction it off for the taxes I owe . I'm disabled and have to have 1/2 of what is owed before they will even let me make a payment plan. I feel guilty to let that house and land that my family worked so hard for to go to someone else but... It's not my home anymore! I hate it . It's scary and depressing to be there. It feels Evil. What do I do? I'll fight til the very end but how can I fight when I don't know exactly what it is I'm fighting. If there's anything that Harriet could suggest I would be so grateful. I just ran across this today, on this rainy Wednesday morning. I have enjoyed. I was gifted beautiful lamps from a lady I worked for for years. Her energy is here, among other loved ones. I have had a lurking puff of smoke floating towards me at my kitchen table after a friend recently passed. I was down in the dumps that day. Waved it away. I just wonder if it was bad energy from my friend who passed away with copd/ Enphasemea? He was a smoker. Scary! I think I will research saging?

Also. Just my advice. When U buy old things. I put them out in the garage. Let them air out..sun or.moon if you can. Let it's energy even out. Like placing on the grass. The good will remain.

Im currently working on and living next to an abandoned nursing home. Patients were not treated well here. Its at times very very active. Talking, things thrown, shadows, boots on the stairs. One insanely loud boom up stairs that shook a 10 thousand square foot building. That concerned me. Im having some friends who are elders and spiritual leaders in the Southern Ute tribe here come by and help these folks move along. And protect it from any evil that might have gotten in here.

I collect antique papier-mâché dolls and early china head dolls (circa 1820-1880). I am very sensitive to spirits and have never felt negative energy by them. But houses have definitely had spiritual activity and had ghosts speak to me.

Happy you asked! I had a rough few weeks, I really hurt my ribs helping my daughter train for sports, had a procedure, then a surgery, so have had to spend a lot of time on my back over the last 1.5 months, but I will get around to this as soon as I can.... a bit behind at the moment. Hi Stacy, I get your stance on that. I believe Harriet had mentioned that you should sage before you enter your house or bring an item into your house and that you you should tell whomever/whatever maybe attached, that it is not welcome and to go back to were it came. Yolanda This is my YT Channel. I am a filmmaker who made the documentary film The Undeparted with my small team of people who volunteered to help. I am in this film above. We are creating small content around this subject to help regain interest as we move forward to find a path to make another episode of The Undeparted. Rebecca and her fiance Steven run the shop.My wife who is not in any of these videos is the one that found the table at the shop and asked me to come see it, this is how the show came to be. I damaged my ribs, tore cartilage, it was difficult to breath... I also had a surgery and a a procedure and spent a good bit of time over the last 2 months in bed.
