Man, my Apple Music station randomly played this song and I scurried out midway through my shower to add it to my library!!! I love articulate song writers cause they don’t have to change the sound of the word to make it flow nicely. I bet this would sound hella dope with a different guitar sound and beat. I could see it being a more dramatic sounding song. Love it!

realizing that there are still great political musicians out there, making a difference, one listener at a time, to awaken human beings' inherent humanity and as social beings, in the face of oppression, and what we choose to do with our lives once we learn of an oppression, an injustice: do we just turn our heads and walk away just to indulge in selfish self-pleasures while the planet and people burn. Or do we fight for all of our humanity, to defend the lives of people who cannot even advocate for themselves because they are too busy surviving and fleeing a far worse death than indifference, but it's the same indifference that allows these geopolitical and socioeconomic conditions that create refugee crises, for the sake of imperialism, for profit in the Global North.
