Ive been wearing them for years, I have the TT Course for daily and my NZ-Race for the track. They have definitely increased the quality of the helmet by the look of things. Good for them!

Yeah I’m surprised that even their street helmet under $200 is actually pretty decent. I have it and will do a review on it soon! Trying to debate whether to where the TT or the NZ-Race on the street and the keep the KX-1 for the track.

@itsmeericb honestly I believe the KX-1 deserves the title of track helmet. The NZ-Race is loud but it's built decently. I compare it to a Shoei RF-1200 for build quality.

@itsmeericb looking forward to the review! My TTC comes in on Friday (was hesitant to drop loads of cash into a lid I couldn't try). Definitely going to consider them for my track helmet and perhaps the NZ for the road if everything fits to my liking. Great video!

I have the NFR and the FOV is night and day compared to my Sedici (which I thought was a godsend over my Bilt)

If you wanted to get the best overall long term value, would you go with this or the pista?

I’ve had two pistas in the past and to be honest for as much as it cost you aren’t getting any better in quality. The KYT is cheaper and just as good but both KYT and AGV are good helmets. Really up to you on how much you want to spend or the style you want.

@@itsmeericbappreciate you taking the time you reply back. Tbh, I originally avoided getting the pista since everyone seems to have it. I’m honestly really impressed by all the reviews and the actual engineering behind the helmet and brand. Definitely will be getting one real soon, already bought two lids this year alone 🤦🏾‍♂️👀

Good overview ! I'll be importing a suomy from Europe as soon as they are available. My arai is great but even my rpha11 pro had a better fov.

I agree but to compare it with a more popular helmet that everyone goes for, the Pista is a good comparison.

Yeah CUZ they're the same helmet with different branding lol. Suomy is just kyt for the American market

Man , i am wearing small shark race r pro, and i order the suomy s1-xr gp in small as well. What do you think ? i like tight fitments as well, i measure 55/56..

@@loizosrr I think the small should be fine. I had to dust the cheek pads on mine and it’s an extra small.

@@itsmeericb i got it today, my honest opinion is that the pads are more agv pista style, which is not as comfy as the shark and doesn't grab you all around as well as the shark.

@ Yes that was my issue with my Pista when I had it. It wasn’t comfortable but you can adjust the cheek pads. I’ve taken the firmer dark gray foam out and it feels much better. KYT said you can adjust it buy adding or removing the foam layers. Sort fine tuning the comfort.

How is the fitment? I see you have a S for the Shark and an XS for the Kyt.

I measure an S but I like to wear XS because I like a really snug fit. The fitment of the KX-1 is tight. The Shark in XS was too small for me so I went with my true measurement.

I measure a 55 but most smalls are too big. Hopefully XS isn’t too bad.

True to size. I always wear one size down just because I like mine tighter than normal. Just a bit tight to get on but fits like a race helmet should be.
