This means a lot sir! you were already doing a great job and I am pretty sure this is gonna be so precious for most of the English medium students and also the tamil medium students too, because it would be much easier to find the tamil words for english terms, than finding tamil terms for sinhala terms.

Thank you. If your werent there, it would have been a difficult year for lot of students. You have done a great job. I think you could write a book with the great content you got. For English medium students the major issue is with the biology. There are no major questions banks in English that would be helpful in exam. Also there are limited number of model papers for chemistry and physics as well. If anyone knows quality questions bank in English pls drop a note too.

Not for your surprise past few years We are getting island ranks from English medium sir.. 2018 island third is an English medium boy from Matale and 2019 island first is an English medium girl from vishaka!!

Although we might not have enough resources to go through our A/Ls, we can benefit more in our higher studies as most of those lectures are done in english. Hence if we get through the A/L with some hard work, our higher studies would be quiet easy as we dont have language barriers like sinhala medium students.

Not to worry ..as to last year's results English medium students' results were more colorful than to what sinhala medium ones' were. Plus the island first in bio stream in new syllabus was also an eng medium student... that's a huge plus point as well in my perspective..(relatively)

Problems like How long you study, and. how long you sleep should be decided by you provided the number of hours you choose don’t sound extremely silly. Same can be said about what time you sleep and what time you study.

Unless you are extremely clever and dont find it really difficult to figure out the technical terms, there no harm in going for sinhala medium classes. It would always be beneficial due to the lack of talented English medium teachers compared to sinhala medium ones.
