Most underrated credits theme is Ugly Face by Nina Nastasia in the movie Carriers. Movie is mid, but that ending credit drop is so good.

I finished Death Note a few Days Ago and the Final Moments of the Finale are accompanied by 2 Pieces of Music: "L No Kako" & "Coda". Through both Tracks alone, you can truly feel the Magnitude of Light's Downfall and Death (and for Me at least, relief that his Reign of Terror may finally be over).

this is why i think death note and bleach are so iconic among anime. the soundtrack for both series are so instantly recognizable even to non anime fans. the spiritual pressure sound effect, L's theme, Kyrie, johnny yong bosch's voice, bankai. these things are what make media stand out and excel (if done right ofc). even tho i dont like jjk, its season 2 has the craziest soundtrack ive heard in modern anime and no doubt leads to its success.
