He’s sponsored by Lews reels i don’t think he’s going to review other companies because it could lose him his sponsor
@myungkim8613 жыл бұрын
@@southerncastin2552 oh dang... that sounds kinda weird, I guess that's how it used to be with pro anglers- but like tactical bassin keeps it real... I would just like some other youtuber of that caliber to get second opinions~
@TylersReelFishing3 жыл бұрын
Tactical Bassin can “keep it real” and review all companies because they have 400K subscribers and a more active fan base. They make more money on KZbin. I don’t. So I have to work with companies (sponsors) to make a living doing what I love

I have the SLX 150 with 10lb flouro specifically for light jerkbaits and finesse. It works great- performance is awesome and casts far for a small profile reel.

If I’m having a rough day fishing I’ll throw on a Beetle Spin. Like the real thing. It just catches fish. But yeah the underspin definitely catches them too.

@@TylersReelFishing they do!! They fight like a smallmouth bass. Until you get a visual, it’s hard to judge the size of the bass sometimes

Was actually fishing the underspin today at the Taylorsville lake spillway this afternoon, no bites but it performed well and I was pretty satisfied. Definitely gonna stay tied on to at least one of my rods always

Caught so many with an underspin. Only used it when the water is churned up and the visibility is not good after the rain on a sunny day.
@TylersReelFishing3 жыл бұрын
Hmm interesting. It’s mainly supposed to be used in finesse clear water situations

I use underspins a lot... Some lakes they work well and some lakes the do not seem to work at all... When the water gets really dirty I normally throw a keitech with more motion which seems to work great....

Need your help Tyler. I’m in Northern Virginia. Water temps are probably 35-40 and I fish ponds with stained water to chocolate milk. Creeping a finesse swim bait on a flashy swimmer is one of my go-to options. I feel like a drop shot or Ned Rig is not the best choice with so little visibility. I’ve had very little success over the years, with a lipless crank-bait. What do you recommend?? Thx
@TylersReelFishing3 жыл бұрын
Yeahhh that’s a tough combo haha. I would just stop fishing if it was 40° muddy water 😂 drive around to find some clear water and throw a deep diving jerkbait
