Honestly I like the idea and don't think it's edgy. It's an interesting point that works with unique monster biology, and even tho the ending result was still great, I'd love for "killing your child to keep being immortal" concept for a boss monster to be re-explored somewhere.

6:14 As explained on the UTY Anniversary stream... One of the developers uploaded a gif of the scene to Gfycat, (presumably to show other developers the scene easier). Turns out that the gif was made public, meaning that ANYONE could see it if they searched up "undertale yellow" in their gifs. They discovered it when watching a reaction video to a playtest, where in the background the gif was playing. Miraculously, nobody noticed, and the gif was taken down without major spoilers breaking out. The worst part of it all is that it was the WORST thing to leak out of all that was made, considering it contained Starlo, Ceroba, and Kanako, who had ALL not been shown yet.
