I got fitted on the T350 and ordered them in October last year. But to be honest, I'm so disappointed. In-between the hole set is replaced once, because that plastic plate on the back felt out on three different irons. Now I have got the new ones for about 5 weeks and it's just the same again. So annoying to spend so much money and then something like that happens TWO TIMES!!!

Thought you said the Mizuno as the tightest dispersion , with so little between them I’d have them in my bag all day.

I still play with Titleist DCI irons from a couple decades ago. When looking down at the heads of new irons they all look the same to me - white lines across the face, same general shape, and a very thick top line. The Top lines are so thick they look like mallets...similar to the early days of Callaway irons.

Just pure distance is not the only factor in evaluating irons, the consistency is a much better way to judge irons. If I can hit an iron consistently 155-160 over and over I would take that iron over one that is in that range but also is sometimes 163 or 164.

I bought the T350's and wow! So much farther than my old Callaway irons. I was fitted as well and tried the new CALLAWAY PARADYM, Mizuno JPX hot metal, Wilson, and Ping. Just love them

I just bought the Ping G430. They were great in the club fitting…. I’ve been a low handicapper and wanted a forgiving club to help me get back down. Titleists are nice. I think the Clalaway and taylormade a look cheap and plastic. My last set was the t200. The T350’s you tested were also very expensive. It would be interested to see you do this test again reverse the order of the clubs tested…

I tested all what you did except the 430s. Ended up buying Paradyms. Best distance, ball speed, club speed and dispersion. Distance was avg 184. Srixon ZX4 was a very close second. Also tested P790, loved those irons. They were close to Srixon and Paradyms.

I bought the Stealths earlier this year and really like them. In my fitting, I tested all the models of your 5 except the Titleist T350 wasn’t out yet. The T300s were just okay. I expected to buy the Mizunos, but the Stealths performed similarly to the Paradyms and were $400 less.

I recently bought new irons after watching many videos and reading reviews I had it in my head that I would be buying the Ping G430’S but after hitting them I found them to clunky and didn’t find the feel to be that great I hit all the clubs on this list except the stealth’s but to add to these I hit the Wilson Dynopower irons also which if you don’t mind something abit chunkier but have a good feel and long 7 iron 204yards I just couldn’t handle the look from above as I would probably have bought them and also saved a couple of hundred pound in the process over the others on this list. Anyone looking for new irons are better off to test as many as you can because for me once you get the right iron you just know as I did I just kept going back to the Paradyms and ended up buying them.

Just got fittet dor new irons after using callaway big bertha for 4 years. Tested iq10, ai smoke and titleist t350. The dispersion and distance of the t350 was the best. Iq10 can go long but was too much dispersion as the taylormade you tested. Good to see this video because i just bought the t350 after the fit.

I play Cleveland Launcher XL Halo irons, so I have no horse in this race. Those Mizuno irons are beautiful. They are the irons of this bunch that I would most like to try. ⛳️

I never go on looks! A friend has the G430’s and the irons are about ten yards longer than his old G’s. I’m sticking to my G400’s as they are long and forgiving. Interesting test though Alex.

the paradym you used was the regular paradym, the paradym X is the forgiving club. I have used the Ping G430 and wasn't getting any distance from them, switched to the paradym (standard) and carried the ball 10 to 15 yards further

I just looked at those today. The Titleist 350 has a significantly larger footprint than the t200 (which is the same size as the 150 and 100). It definitely looks forgiving when you put it behind the ball and i for sure would game them if i could afford to! I would say that when youre talking about "forgiveness", longest isnt always best and by not taking out mis-hits by you, with three shots it easily skewed your numbers (hence why the ping and callaway were at the bottom). I still think the Titleist is probably the best of the lot, but I do believe those two would have been higher. Ping definitely sounds funky!

I play the PXG 0211XCOR2’s love them, sound, feel, performance! I agree about the Ping G430 ugly! G 425 much better looking, I had them and sold. Thanks good reviews!

I tried 4 of the 5. The Mizuno ended at the top. More spin, highest peak, and best descent angle. Fantastic distance 200 yd 7 iron (elevation 4400). With the distance I wish I would have gotten the HL to tighten my gapping in the middle irons.

i play the Mizunos, and I wouldn't play anything else - they are great for me and my 12 HCP...very forgiving...and when you catch them well, they are just incredible.

I've got the Stealths and they are the first ever irons I've owned 😅 doing me great, can't see me changing anytime soon unless something really catches my eye

consistency should be included. Dispersion, Mizuno 158-161, Titleist was also tight on the consistent distance. The others had big variances, common in game improvement irons.

Ping and Titleist actually got in the air...had more spin...therefore will hold a green much better!

The assessment should be for high to mid handicappers. These clubs being tested are not players clubs and are not trying to appease low handicappers. most high handicappers are not even comparing the top line of the club. They want distance, forgiveness on off center hits,❤ and they feel good when you hit them. The other criticism are more likely after a player has more control of the game and understands where the club head is during their swing.

So, while its nice to see which was the longest, I thought this was about forgiveness. If that was the objective wouldnt dispersion be the primary focus of the test? Last time I got fitted for Irons it boiled down to the Titlist T200s and JPX 919 Hotmetal Pros. Both were the same distance, dispersion but the cost was so much lower for the Mizunos I went that way and have loved them. As soon as the Mizuno 241, 243, 245 are available I will be heading for another fitting and a new set of Irons. I just love the look, feel and performance, not to mention the price.

Great review more please! Would have been interested to try the Wilson Dynapwr irons and woods especially at their price point along with Cleveland the best value clubs out there. The big boys are charging far too much and a bag of clubs is well over £3000.

I have a set of the T350s and enjoy them, although was dissapointed when the back cover fell off. it is cheap plastic by the way, that's why it feels and sounds like it. Titleist were good about it and pretty much changed my whole set as they were faulty. But for the price, I don't think I should have had the issues I have had.

My advice is this ….. go down a local golf shop pick a 5,7 and 9 up, hit a fuck load of load of balls, pick the most consistent set. Either way ….. most days , golf will spoil a good fucking walk either way 🤷‍♂️

I can't disagree with the looks, the G430 looks awful, I do like the Paradym, Titlesit and Mizuno (I have JPX 919s Forged), not mad about the Stealth either. Of course, aesthetics is very subjective. As for performance, I think three shots with each club on a very cold day is not really a conclusive test but a taster. Thanks for the review I really enjoyed your enthusiasm.

Just got fitted and the T-350 were the best for me…I wanted the G430s because I’m a PING guy, but the T-350 where just better, the T-200 were a close second and still beat out the G430 for me

I disagree with the ranking parameters. Distance should not be the main judging factor in determining the best of the bunch. I believe dispersion should be the primary focus when deciding what iron to purchase. The quest to sell more distance is keeping most amateur golfers from improving at the game.

@HowGoodGolf That would be cool if you did a review of the entire ZX line. I hit many of the top irons and ended up with the Srixon ZX5's. They felt significantly better than the others with better performance as well.

I’d play with a knarly old tree branch if it resulted in lower scores. I could care less about look and sound. I understand playability for lower HCs, but I have to believe that if the HC could be lowered, even those players would give up look and sound for improved performance.

I don’t think three shots each from a good golfer is a good test for which of these irons are the most forgiving, especially if distance is determining the winner. Fly me out there and I’ll hit fifty balls with each and make each of those clubs look like complete rubbish. Don’t cheap on accommodations. I expect five-star 😂
